Lula was in her car and leaned down to retrieve something. When she popped her head back up, she saw a celebrity chef being beheaded with a meat clever. The killers saw her watching the scene transpire and she hauled her booty straight to Plum Bail Bonds to report her trauma to Connie and Stephanie.

The women then spent several go-arounds debating who would inform Joe Morelli, and Connie ended up making the report via telephone. Steph and Joe were off again, which always makes me happy as Ranger gets more "page" time.

Ranger had some clients who were being robbed. The only problem was that in order to bypass his security, it would have had to be an inside job. Since Ranger had hired Steph before, he knew he could get her in to his office building as a spy without tipping his hand to his employees. Stanly was described a bit in the vein of Emeril Lagasse, only hated by everyone off-screen. He had tons of fans, but an angry ex-wife, neighbors and manager. He was famous for his cooking series, but also the food products he had released. One of his most famous was an award winning BBQ sauce.

It turned out he was also having an affair with the boss' wife, so to speak, which led to his murder.

Janet never leaves out good ole grandma! When Lula came to the conclusion that the killers were another contestant in the local food competition, there was no talking her out of entering the contest in an undercover ruse. She would learn to cook ribs and make her own awesome sauce, but she needed a kitchen to cook in. So, she went right over to Stephanie's parent's home and Grandma Mazur was game from the start.

The pair planned to look and act the part, despite early evidence that Lula was hopeless in the cooking department.

Larry was a huge man who liked to dress up as a woman. On their first date, Larry helped himself to Lula's clothing which freaked her out and had him calling her a "fatso". She gave him another chance, dress up and all, so she could get help cleaning Stephanie's apartment after an unfortunate pressure cooker incident.

She and Lula went to the man's home to collect him, and he was friendly and allowed them inside. He asked if he could go to change his clothes first, and went upstairs. How many times will those two fall for that trick? He exited the house and took off in his Volkswagen. Steph and Lula tried to pursue him in the Escort, but Lula quickly realized the backseats were burning! They abandoned the car and watched it burn up. Ranger sent out a loner car for her to use, since she was working for him as well as Vinnie.

The Escort was not the only car casualty, as one or two more were destroyed, including one of Ranger's fancy SUVs. Ernie Dell torched both her and Ranger's vehicles.

Yep, Joyce was back! Not only did she seize the "single Morelli" moment in time, but Vinnie hired her to recover bond violators (aka skips). Then, she stole one of Lula and Grandma's experiments in BBQing and took it back to the Morelli house. Joe's brother was staying with him again, and the three of them ate the casserole.

It gave Steph no amount of small pleasure, just a lot of big pleasure, to discover the trio suffered the after affects. Sadly, Bob the dog also ate some, which was not so fun for Steph. Later, Joyce was caught by a bullet trying to apprehend the killers at the BBQ contest.

Her injury was minor, like those before now, and she lived to irritate another day!

Myron's false teeth did not fit well after he had them made. So, when he tried to get an appointment with Dr. Duffy's snippety receptionist, he found that he'd have to wait three weeks! This did not sit well at all, so he took the teeth back and threatened the dentist with a gun.

When Steph tried to recover Myron, she had no luck. So, like many times before, Steph used logic over luck and became a mediator. She took Myron back to William Duffy's practice and negotiated charges being dropped against Myron for a quicker appointment to adjust the dentures.

In the end, this one worked out for the best.

Their undercover efforts were not all in vain though, because both Marco the Maniac and Zito Dudley were caught because they attended the contest. Lula, Grandma, Connie and a hot dog suited Stephanie tried to pursue Marco and lost him. Fortunately the local police caught him soon afterward.

When the ladies returned to the contest, their food was ruined! Connie was able to provide the name of the second Chipotle killer, Zito Dudley. Zito worked for the company hosting the contest and admitted his brother-in-law arranged for the hit on Stanley.

After some hostage drama, Lula sucker punched Zito in the throat and Morelli arrested him.

Stephanie had given Ranger the idea that someone posing as his employee had installed tiny cameras to witness residents punching in their alarm codes. That led to the discovery of the one man, named Toby, which Stephanie happened to accidentally run into at Starbucks.

She called it in, and they followed him back to his offices at a place called Got Game Security. Once inside, they found a second man working on the thefts. He gave up the story to Ranger and his men, stating that Rangeman had failed to hire them due to their age. That motivated Toby to start his own security firm with the profits made stealing from Ranger's clients.

After this task was complete, Stephanie elected to stay employed by Rangeman, but leave Ranger's bedroom before her will-power escaped her.

Afterward, she went to Joe's house to start their love cycle once again...
