 David explained how we see movies like that, a lot, and related it to his experience of being taken out of class by a speech tutor.
David: "My agent came for me during class in the third grade."

 David said he had a lisp in his speech. It would always be heard when he pronounced words with S's. To avoid this, he tried talking to people with words that had no S's in them.

David: "Fine."

David: "Affirmative."
