Gitara had previously been adviser to Queen Modrellein of Andor. She died shortly after Foretelling the Dragon's rebirth on the Dragonmount.

Aes Sedai consider themselves anything but servile.

3. Which Black Ajah sister is the head of the Red Ajah?

Answer: Galina Sedai

Galina Casban has been Highest in the Red Ajah for almost 20 years. However, she has been of the Black for over 85. Prior to her capture by the Shaido, only Alviarin stood higher than her on the Black Ajah's Supreme Council. Liandrin swore her oaths as a Darkfriend before she even went to the White Tower. Elaida is not Black Ajah, although under the thumb of it. Tarna's loyalties are unknown.

4. Who led the Aes Sedai expedition against the Black Tower?

Answer: Toveine Gazal

Toveine was given the task after returning from exile. The expedition ended with the capture of Toveine and all 50 sisters with her.

5. Romanda Cassin is one of the the most powerful and influential Aes Sedai supporting Egwene. Of which Ajah is she?

Answer: Yellow

Perhaps "supporting" is too strong a word. She wanted the Amyrlin Seat for herself but backed Egwene to prevent her arch-nemesis, Lelaine Akashi, being raised but thought, like Lelaine, that she would be able to control Egwene. Like many Yellows, she is quite arrogant. Of course, all Aes Sedai tend to think that sisters from all ajahs other than their own are arrogant.

6. What title is given to the head of the Green Ajah?

Answer: Captain-General

The Green Ajah considers itself the Battle Ajah, so it is fitting that it should have a military-styled leader. Among those supporting Elaida, the Captain-General is Adelorna; among those supporting Egwene, it is Myrelle.

'Highest' is the title given to the head of the Red Ajah, 'First Weaver' is head of the Yellow, and 'Head Clerk' is head of the Gray.

7. Before Elaida, who was the last Amyrlin to be raised from the Red?

Answer: Bonwhin

Bonwhin had been Amyrlin during the reign of the High King, Artur Hawkwing. She was stripped of the stole and staff for almost destroying the White Tower in her attempts to control Hawkwing. Tetsuan was also raised from the Red, but she also was stripped of the stole and staff, for her betrayal of Manetheren during the Trolloc Wars.

Despite being the largest of the Ajahs, the Red has managed only three Amyrlins (including Elaida) in 2000 years. Kirin Melway was raised from the Brown and Sierin Vayu, although "with more than a touch of Red in her", was raised from the Gray.

Answer: Alanna Mosvani

Alanna later justifies this warning by bonding Rand; she had only been held back from bonding Perrin because Faile had threatened to kill her if she did. Of course, Perrin does not particularly trust any Aes Sedai, including Verin.

Answer: Myrelle Sedai

Myrelle has four Warders, including Lan. She is rumoured to have married all of them except Lan. On a visit to Tel'aran'rhiod she appeared with three Altaran marriage knives at her throat and briefly a fourth.

All the captured Aes Sedai have now sworn fealty, except Katerine Alruddin, who escaped before Verin could question her and weave her form of Compulsion on her.
