Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What's the name of Orochimaru's most powerful summoned snake?

Answer: Manda

Hebi means "snake" in Japanese, which is the title Sasuke decides to address his own team after he defeats Orochimaru. Gamabunta is Jiraiya's and Naruto's summoned frog and Katsuyu is Tsunade's summoned slug.
2. How many coffins came out of the ground fully, when Orochimaru used the "Summoning: Impure World Resurrection" in his battle against the Third Hokage?

Answer: 2

The coffins with the kanji for the First and Second Hokages were successfully summoned but the Third Hokage prevented a third coffin from appearing by canceling Orochimaru's jutsu. In the anime the third coffin belongs to the Fourth Hokage but in the manga, the coffin is never shown.
3. What parts of Sasori's Hiruko puppet can shoot projectiles?

Answer: Mouth and left arm

Before starting the fight with Sasori, Chiyo noticed several differences in Hiruko's body from the last time she had seen it. She told Sakura that Hiruko seemed to have a stronger shielding and an upgraded left arm and back.
4. Who was the examiner for the second phase of the Chunin exams?

Answer: Anko Mitarashi

Anko made quite the dramatic entrance through a window to announce that she was the examiner for the second part of the Chunin exams. Ibiki, the interrogation specialist took care of the first part of the exams. Hayate Gekko served as examiner for the preliminary matches while Genma substituted him for the main matches.
5. What is the name of Orochimaru's sword?

Answer: Kusanagi-no-tsurugi

Tessaiga is Inuyasha's sword in the anime and manga "Inuyasha" while Tenro is the sword of the main character in the manga "Samurai Deeper Kyo". Shishi-oh is the name of the katana the samurai Mitsurugi prefers to use in the Soul Calibur games.
6. What's the most basic dance Kimimaro Kaguya utilizes from his Shikotsumyaku kekkei genkai? (Hint: uses the humerus of either arm as a sword.)

Answer: Dance of the Camellia

The Dance of the Willow employs many bone extensions from his body with complex acrobatic maneuvers. The Dance of the Larch is a defensive move that traps the opponent with protruding bones and stabs them with the bones as they continue to grow. The Dance of the Clematis involves the snaring of the opponent with a ripped-out spinal cord whip, and the subsequent coup-de-grace with a drill made of the strongest bones in his body.
7. Which of the following has not used the Mangekyo Sharingan technique in combat?

Answer: All of them have used it

All of them have the ability to use the Mangekyo albeit differently in some cases.
8. Which character uses a "third eye" for reconnaissance or spying purposes?

Answer: Gaara

This "third eye" made of sand connected to Gaara's optic nerves proved its usefulness in the first phase of the Chunin exams.
9. What is the main purpose of the "Earth Release Barrier: Dungeon Chamber of Nothingness" ninjutsu technique?

Answer: To absorb the chakra of anyone trapped inside

Jirobo uses this technique to trap Kiba, Naruto, Neji, Shikamaru and Choji inside a virtually indestructible dome of earth. However, the chakra required to maintain the dome is not equally spreaded throughout it, having as the weakest spot, the farthest point from where the technique's user stands.
10. What reason did Itachi Uchiha *initially* give to Sasuke for murdering all the members of his clan?

Answer: To test his ability

The real reason (to become a member of the Akatsui organization) was revealed much later, so it was understandable that Itachi's vague answer infuriated Sasuke.
