Before Shikamaru separated Hidan and Kakuzu, Kakashi used Chidori on Kakuzu and gathered some of said Akatsuki member's blood in a capsule, then gave it to Shikamaru. When Hidan used his Ritual on Shikamaru after Shikamaru separated Hidan from Kakuzu, Shikamaru faked getting injured by Hidan, as he had dodged Hidan's frontal attack and purposely dropped some of Kakuzu's blood from the capsule onto Hidan's pike, which Hidan was unaware of.

After having ingested the blood on his pike, Hidan stabbed himself, thinking he would kill Shikamaru, but in reality, he had killed one of Kakuzu's hearts, since Kakuzu's blood was the blood he ingested before stabbing himself.

Answer: Seven

Akatsuki is not shown capturing all seven Bijuu, but throughout the Manga, you see them capture four of those seven.

Deidara fought Gaara, who had the Shukaku (One-Tailed Demon) within him.

Hidan and Kakuzu fought Yugito, who had the Nibi(Two-Tailed Demon) within her.

Deidara and Tobi fought the Sanbi (Three-Tailed Demon), as said Demon did not have a Jinchuuriki host during the time Deidara and Tobi went after it.

Kisame and Itachi fought Roushi, who had the Yonbi (Four-Tailed Demon) within him.

Answer: A huge version of Deidara

Deidara uses C4 Garuda against Sasuke, and said Jutsu appears as a much larger form of Deidara. When the real Deidara blows Garuda up, many microscopic sized bombs are scattered into the air. Any lifeforms that breath in these bombs will have them throughout their bodies. When these bombs explode, the lifeforms' bodies are destroyed from the inside out, as explained by Tobi.

Answer: Itachi

Having been defeated by Itachi and forced to join Akatsuki some years back, Deidara had always held a grudge against Uchiha. He had been training his left eye to face Itachi's Genjutsu for a day when he fought him and killed him.

Answer: Itachi

Because the upper class of Konoha had become aware that the Uchiha Clan had been planning a coup d'etat on them, they made Itachi a spy to watch over the Uchiha Clan. They had taken advantage of Itachi's love for Konoha, and Itachi knew that if his clan had started a war, it would deal much damage to Konoha, as well as the Land of Fire. Konoha later ordered Itachi to kill off his entire family, which forced him to kill his sense of self to do so.

Although he managed to do so and kill off most of his family with Madara's help, he was unable to kill Sasuke, due to affection.

When Madara approaches Kisame after Itachi's death, he takes his mask off in front of him, and Kisame says he never would have suspected Madara was Tobi. He then says he's relieved, and adds that it will be easier to do his work with Madara pulling the strings. (Kisame also calls him Mizukage, then corrects himself and calls him Madara) Madara tells Kisame he is counting on him.

Answer: Pain

Naruto returned to Konoha and was unable to recognize it, courtesy of Pain. Naruto uses Rasenshuriken in Sage Mode and was able to throw it, unlike the first Rasenshuriken he used against Kakuzu.

Answer: Self Destruction

During his fight with Sasuke, Deidara was unable to defeat Sasuke due mainly to Sasuke's Sharingan techniques and angered Deidara a great amount, as he did not appreciate Deidara's art whatsoever. After Sasuke told Deidara he couldn't care less about his creations, he drove Deidara to suicide out of anger, as he used his Self Destruction technique to try to kill Sasuke, and Deidara insisted that death would transform him into a work of art.

A short while after reaching the real Pain, Nagato, Naruto says he wanted to know how he'd feel if he really saw Nagato right in front of him. He had been about to attack him, but he stopped himself and continued talking to Nagato. Eventually he asked him how he turned out like he did if he was Jiraiya's apprentice, adding that he didn't know anything about him.

He then says he wants to hear Nagato's story before giving him his answer.

Answer: Shikaku

After Naruto and Inoichi argued over Naruto going to speak to the real Pain, Shikaku interrupts and tells Inoichi to let Naruto go alone. After Naruto thanks him and leaves, Shikaku remembers Shikamaru saying he went to go talk to Naruto, adding that he'd been down.

He'd said he just found himself headed over there, and that Naruto he is going to be a very important Ninja. The last thing we see Shikaku remembering in this flashback is Shikamaru saying when he's with Naruto, Naruto makes him want to walk with him. Shikaku then says to let Naruto handle it.
