1. Maharet's eyes bleed.

Answer: Both movie and book

 In the movie, you can see Maharet's eyes bleed during Jesse's dream. In the book, it is explained that Maharet's eyes bleed because Akasha tore her eyes out when Maharet was mortal. Maharet uses eyes she takes from her mortal victims as replacements, but they never last too long. A vampire's eyes would last considerably longer, but she won't kill another vampire for their eyes.
2. Lestat was made into a vampire by Marius.

Answer: Movie only

 In the novel, Lestat is forced into vampirism by a vile creature named Magnus, who was obsessed with Lestat's blonde hair and grey/violet eyes. This is why in "Interview with the Vampire," Lestat gives Louis the "choice I never had."
3. Maharet has a twin sister.

Answer: Book only

 Maharet has a mute twin sister named Mekare, who, at the end of the novel, eats Akasha's organs and becomes the "Queen of the Damned."
4. Akasha and Enkil were left in the sun in an attempt to kill them.

Answer: Book only

 This was in Marius' history of how he became the guardian of Akasha and Enkil.
5. Pandora (played by Claudia Black in the movie) is set on fire by Akasha, and is killed.

 Pandora survives the encounter in the book. Later, David Talbot encourages her to write her memoirs.
6. Lestat puts on his debut concert in London.

Answer: Neither

 Lestat's concert is put on in Death Valley, CA in the movie. In the book, it is put on in San Francisco, CA.
7. Jesse can communicate with spirits.

Answer: Book only

 Jesse sensed Claudia's presence in the old New Orleans house that Claudia, Lestat and Louis used to live in.
8. David Talbot is made into a vampire in "Queen of the Damned."

Answer: Neither

 It is implied that Marius makes Talbot a vampire at the end of the movie. Talbot eventually becomes a vampire in "The Chronicles", but it is in the next novel, "Tale of the Body Thief," and it's Lestat that makes him a vampire.
9. Lestat and Marius are both blonde.

Answer: Book only

 Although Stuart Townsend's performance as Lestat, albeit a bit drama-queenish, is much more accurate than Tom Cruise's (in "Interview with the Vampire"), Townsend's physical appearance is all wrong, as is Vincent Perez's.
10. Jesse was only made into a vampire because otherwise, she would have died.

Answer: Both movie and book

 This is true in both the book and movie, but in different circumstances. In the movie, Akasha demands that Lestat kill Jesse as a show of devotion. He does, and when Akasha is killed, he makes Jesse a vampire. In the book, Maharet makes Jesse into a vampire after she is nearly killed by a vampire at Lestat's concert.
11. Louis and Daniel are two of the few that survive Akasha's death.

Answer: Book only

 Louis and Daniel are nowhere to be seen in the movie version.
12. Lestat likes to kill three innocent victims each night.

Answer: Neither

 In the movie, Lestat kills two innocent girls. In the book, Lestat kills only evil-doers, as is the custom for most ancient vampires.
13. Lestat and Jesse meet in London and fall in love.

Answer: Movie only

 In the book they meet only in the final chapter of the book and most definitely don't fall in love.
14. David Talbot is a scholar in his 60s.

Answer: Book only

 David Talbot is the head of the Talamasca, an order of Psychics who investigate the paranormal. In the movie, he is in his 30s.
15. Akasha is killed at Maharet's compound, where Maharet keeps records of her mortal family.

Answer: Both book and movie

 Killing Akasha outright would cause the death of all vampires worldwide. When Mekare eats the Queen's organs, she takes the vampire "spirit" into herself and becomes the Queen of the Damned. Only the ancient vampires survive this ordeal, because there is a moment where Akasha is dead, but the spirit hasn't taken hold in Mekare yet. All young or weak vampires die. The ancients remain at the compound after Akasha's death, until they feel strong enough to venture out into the world.
