Answer: Mycroft

As I already mentioned in my question Mycroft, Sherlock's elder brother posses even greater powers of deduction than his brother, but it is mentioned that unlike Holmes he is very impractical.
2. Name the friend of Sherlock Holmes who used to reside with him.

Answer: Dr Watson

Dr Watson lived with Holmes till he got married in 1887. After his wife's death, he went to live with him again.
3. Name the first book about Sherlock Holmes written by Conan Doyle.

Answer: A Study in Scarlet

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle has written four novels and fifty-six short stories about Sherlock Holmes.
4. Name Sherlock Holmes' landlady.

Answer: Mrs Hudson

Sherlock Holmes lived at 221B Baker Street London UK.
5. What musical instrument did Sherlock Holmes play?

Answer: Violin

Including playing violin, Holmes had many other talents, such as boxing and fencing.

Answer: Irene Adler

Irene Adler weds Norton Godfrey, a lawyer, whom she stated she was in love with.
7. To whom was Holmes married, according to the book series by Conan Doyle?

Answer: He was never truly married

Holmes was actually engaged to marry a housemaid in "The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton" but only to gain information about the case he was working on.
Holmes never married in the books and stories by Conan Doyle. However, in a series by author Laurie R. King, Holmes marries a young woman named Mary Russell.

Answer: Cocaine and morphine

He used to take cocaine and morphine occasionally which were legal in late nineteenth century England. He showed dislike to opium after visiting one opium den in "The Man with Twisted Lip".
9. Who was known as the greatest enemy of Holmes?

Answer: Professor James Moriarty

Professor James Moriarty was a criminal mastermind. Holmes used to describe Professor Moriaty as the "Napoleon of Crime". Moriaty's first and last appearance was in "The Final Problem".
10. How does Sherlock Holmes die?

Answer: It is not mentioned

Watson thought Holmes died in "The Final Problem" while Holmes was fighting Professor James Moriarty, but later we come to know that he didn't die after all.
