1. Here's an easy one to start the quiz. Which character is the narrator of "The Icarus Hunt"?

Answer: Jordan McKell

Jordan McKell is the captain of the Icarus, and the story is told from his very humorous perspective. Arno Cameron is the businessman who hires him to fly the Icarus to Earth, Ixil is McKell's business partner, and Geoff Shawn is also hired by Cameron (to be the eloctronics specialist on the Icarus).

2. This one's a little harder. Geoff Shawn has a medical problem when he comes aboard the Icarus. Where did he get it, and what is the treatment/medication he needs for it?

Answer: Ephis and Borandis

He had Cole's diesease, and needed borandis, but couldn't get it legally because he caught the disease in Ephis, an interdicted world.

3. Another easy one. Ixil was the Icarus' mechanic for most of its journey. What species was he?

Answer: Kalix

Chort was Craean, everyone else on the Icarus was human. The Ikyam worked for the Paath, and had quite a few run-ins with the Icarus' crew.

4. Which of the following was not one of nicknames of an Icarus crewer?(hint: includes nicknames given by others)

Answer: Nask

It's Paath for "victor", and was used by the Paath diplomat who captured McKell. Jordie was of course McKell, Revs was Nicobar, and Twitchy was what Jones called Shawn at Meima.

5. Which of the following did not consider themselves Jordan McKell's employer?

Answer: Emendo Torsk

He was a drug dealer, and, like McKell, part of Brother John's criminal organization. Arno Cameron was the owner of the Icarus, and Uncle Arthur ran the organization that infiltrated McKell into Brother John's organization.

6. Another Ixil question- this one should be really easy. What are the names of Ixil's sidekicks?

Answer: Pix and Pax

They were "ferrets" who could link their nervous systems with his when they stood on his shoulder.

7. Jaeger Jones was the Icarus' first mechanic, but was murdered before the Icarus reached its first port. Who murdered him?

Answer: Hayden Everett

He worked for Brother John, and thought he was killing Mckell's partner. He found out his mistake when Ixil arrived to replace Jones.

Answer: Arno Cameron

He was her father. At the end of the book Mckell offers a "small wager" that she and Nicobar will marry. Mr. Antoniewicz was a crime lord and Brother John's boss.

Answer: True

He left the marines after an unsuccessful raid on a secret Patth base, and went into spaceship engines.
