Answer: Christopher Golden

He has written many "Buffy" titles, including: the "Gatekeeper Trilogy" and "Immortal"

2. Who is the main villain of this novel?

Answer: Camazotz

He is the "God of Bats", and a rather pitiful one at that; Buffy makes a stab at the stumpy excuse of wings he has on his back.

3. What are the names of those who follow the Bat God?

Answer: Kakchiquels

Queller was the name of the demon that was killing the "crazy" people in 5th season, and I made up the name "camazedes".

4. What kind of animal are the followers of the Bat God branded with? And what color are the brands?

Answer: bat and black

They have tattoos that are described as going across the middle section of their faces. We will learn later that the brands very in color.

Buffy encounters these two on numerous occasions, and are still around when she breaks out of the "prison" they have kept her in.

The Scooby Gang learn of the Prophet, through Lucy Hanover, and "it" is described to be "slimy and black" and allows Buffy to see the future of her mistake.

She has been kept hostage, in a cell, by the vampires for 5 years.

August had only been the slayer for 6 months, and had been called after Faith was killed. August attempted to kill Buffy, and while Buffy was defending herself, she accidently broke this girl's neck, killing her instantly.

9. What does Buffy fail to tell Oz to pass onto Willow in her conversation to him? Because she didn't feel it was necessary.

Answer: the spell

Giles wanted Willow to perform Magick to locate the vampire nest, and Buffy opts to not tell Oz to pass that particular message onto Willow.
