Answer: Amateur Night

Pre-Fumigation Night is at the start of the Season One episode "Angel" (kill a cockroach, get a free drink). Oz's band, Dingoes Ate My Baby, recently missed a Winner Take All Battle of the Bands at Crestwood, according to their singer, Devon, in "Out of the Madhouse" because Oz was a werewolf that night (or, as he tells Devon, in a rehab program).

As far as I know, the Bronze had never been seen to host a New Bands Night.

Answer: Salt and pepper shakers

This is despite the fact she never cooks. In Boston, Xander buys her some Paul Revere-head salt and pepper shakers.

Answer: Kathleen

Kathleen was Jean-Marc's wife. Antoinette was Henri's wife, Jean-Marc's mother, Giuliana was Richard's wife, Henri's mother, and Marie was Antoinette's cousin.

Answer: She jumped from a thrid-floor window in the Gatehouse.

Kathleen comitted suicide because she was unable to bear living in the Gatehouse.

Answer: Spike

Spike kidnapped the heir on Il Maestro's orders, but betrayed him upon discovering Il Maestro did not have what he had promised to give Spike in exchange. Despte this book being set in Season Three, between the episodes "Revelations" and "Lovers Walk", Faith is not mentioned.

Answer: The Spear of Longinus

The Spear has healing properties - Spike wants it for Drusilla (something which makes absolutely no sense, considering Drusilla regained her strength midway through Season Two in "What's My Line", Part 2, roughly a year before the "Gatekeeper Trilogy" is set). Spike was searching for the Gem of Amarra in the episode "The Harsh Light of Day" in Season Four.

The Word of Valios is from "Doomed", also in Season Four. The Gatekeeper owns both the Spear and the Cauldron of Bran the Blessed.

Answer: A manticore

The manticore is a mythical creature with the head of a human, body of a lion, and tail of a scorpion. Buffy, Angel and Oz were attacked by the Skree earlier in the book (a huge bird with a human face). Springheel Jack appears in "Out of the Madhouse". The chimaera, a monster with a lion's head, a goat's body and a dragon's tail, has never been seen in the Buffyverse.

Answer: 1882

The date was January 27. Jean-Marc at first refused to become Gatekeeper, not realising that the powers would be transferred to him (and could be to no-one else) upon his father's death.

Answer: For Angel. Always. Buffy.

She bought it for him while in England. Yours, Always was inscribed on the ID bracelet Xander gave Buffy in the Season One episode, "The Witch".

Answer: Vienna

They claimed to be going to Vienna to throw Il Maestro off their scent. In the Sons of Entropy's mansion in London they found a Paris address and went there. Milan was where Angel met up with Buffy and Oz after they separated, and Florence was Fulcanelli's headquarters.

Answer: It creates a sphere of order.

The spell draws upon the power of the Lords of Order, and is meant to stop any more unnatural beings entering Sunnydale.

Answer: With her bare hands, starting by ripping out its third eye.

Buffy could not defeat Belphegor any other way - it was written that "...the sword of man shall not cut him down; For man's only weapon must be himself". She killed Angel in the Season Two episode "Becoming" by stabbing him with a sword and sending him through a portal into Hell, and defeated the Mayor in the Season Three episode "Graduation Day" by trapping him inside the school, which was then blown up.

Answer: The Minotaur

She is released into a huge maze containing the Minotaur. However, it does not kill her and she is rescued.

Answer: The Fatal One

The Fatal One is, in fact, a name of the demon with whom Fulcaneli forms an allegience with near the end of Sons of Entropy. Other names for Belphegor are Dark Wanderer, Horned Master and Lord of the Vile Flesh.

Answer: Jonathan

Drusilla appears in the second book with Spike, Amy helps to fight demons while Buffy is out of Sunnydale and Devon speaks to Oz in the first book.
