Luffy is known to have a very bad sense of direction (though not as bad as Zoro's). An example of this is when, on Usopp's homeland, he didn't know which way was north or south and ended up crashing into cliffs several times. This is one of the main reasons why the Straw Hats wanted Nami to join their crew.

Monkey D. Luffy is the captain (though Nami often plays that role) and creator of the Straw Hat Pirates. He's known for wearing his straw hat given to him by Shanks, the one who inspired him. He's impulsive, reckless, and relatively strong, as he has a 400 million beli bounty. The World Government and Navy considers him a huge problem because of his recklessness and his strength combined. He is one of the Supernovas (Super Rookies) and was involved in events concerning all 3 of the Navy's key islands (Enies Lobby, Impel Down, Navy HQ). He uses the Gomu Gomu Devil Fruit. He also carries the Will of the D.

Answer: Dracule Mihawk

Bartholomew Kuma sends Zoro to Mihawk's home and Zoro begs for Mihawk to train him after Zoro receives the message that he must train for two years. The rest of the choices are all powerful, well-known swordsmen, but Mihawk was the one who trained Zoro.

Zoro is one of the most powerful crew members. He is famous for his fighting style which uses three katana (swords). Like Luffy, he has no sense of direction. He also sleeps most of the time while they are sailing. A running gag in One Piece is that he and Sanji always fight. Despite the fact that Zoro trains a lot while Sanji just cooks, the fights always end in a tie. Zoro's dream is to become the world's greatest swordsman.

Answer: Tangerines and money

When Luffy first tells Nami that he is a pirate, she declares that she hates pirates and also notes that she only likes money and tangerines (a kind of orange). Although it is true that she loves her foster mother, she does not say that when Luffy first meets her.

Nami is the navigator of the Straw Hat crew. She also mostly plays the role of the captain, as Luffy is rather immature and does not normally do his job. She often bosses around the rest of the crew. She is obsessed with money and, when her money is in jeopardy, is able to beat up Luffy, even when Luffy could use Haki. She uses a special kind of staff which she can use to alter the weather and create thunder to beat her opponents.

Answer: Pop Greens

Usopp uses Pop Greens after the timeskip, which are a variety of mainly aggressive plants found on the Boyn Islands. There are seeds which, when landing, on impact grow into plants. He fires these with his slingshot.

Usopp is the sharpshooter of the crew. He is often described as a liar, and for the most part is a coward, though he occasionally shows a brave side. He likes to tell lies, or tall tales, for fun, but he often does it to get out of a bad situation or a fight he believes he will lose. A running gag about him is his "alter ego", Sogeking, who is shown to be more confident, braver, and also stronger. Before the timeskip, he uses a slingshot and a variety of creative ammo. He also uses some of the Skypiean technology.

Answer: Hell

Sanji always refers to Momoiro Island as "hell" because the island contains no women, only men dressed up as women. Also, he had almost no sleep or relaxation there because he was constantly chased by the island's inhabitants who tried to make him an "okama" as well. Considering that his weapons are his legs, running away nonstop for two years probably still counts as training.

Sanji serves as the cook of the crew. Originally Nami would cook occasionally, but Sanji cooks much better (and Nami charged them money). Sanji is extremely weak to women, as he would prefer to die than to hurt a woman. Part of the original reason why he joined Luffy's crew was to be with Nami. He uses kicks as his weapon. When pushed, he will use knives as weapons. (He could probably punch or something else, but he claims that that would get his hands dirty.)

Answer: Cotton Candy Lover

Chopper is called "Cotton Candy Lover" most likely because his wanted poster shows him eating cotton candy and the fact that he loves cotton candy.

Tony Tony Chopper is from Sakura Island, an island which is famous for its medicinal knowledge and skills. He uses a "Rumble Ball", which enhances his Devil Fruit powers, to fight. He is a reindeer with the Human-Human Fruit and is commonly mistaken as a tanuki (a raccoon).

Answer: To know what happened during the Void Century

Robin's goal is to learn history, and to complete this, she has to know what happened during the Void Century. Part of the reason she joined the Straw Hats was because they were both headed to Raftel. It's theorized that the Rio Poneglyph (a piece of text which contains the truth about the Void Century) is on Raftel.

Robin is the historian of the crew. She is very motherly to the crewmates, especially Chopper. She fights using her Devil Fruit which allows her to sprout body parts (especially arms and hands) anywhere in her sight.

Answer: His nose

Franky demonstrates this to Usopp and Chopper when they reunite on the Thousand Sunny. There is no real purpose for this addition.

Franky is the shipwright of the Straw Hats. He is a cyborg which he designed himself. He likes creating weapons. He fights using the many weapons concealed within him. He and Usopp get along especially well since they both like crafting things.

Answer: In the Florian Triangle

The Straw Hats found Brook on a large ship drifting through the Florian Triangle. Luffy, Nami, and Sanji went to explore the ship. Luffy invited Brook to join and Brook joined after he got his shadow back from Gekko Moriah.

Brook is the musician of the Straw Hats and is a swordsman. He is the oldest of the crew, being already dead (he survived due to his Devil Fruit which allows him to survive almost anything). His dream is to reach Raftel and then return to Laboon, his whale friend.

Answer: Jinbe

Luffy invited Jinbe to the crew at Fishman Island; however, Jinbe declined because he had matters to attend to, though he promised to join once he cleared those problems up. Because this quiz was created during the Dressrosa arc, it is unknown if more Shichibukai will be invited.
