Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which Akatsuki duo are both named after animals?

Answer: Itachi and Kisame

'Itachi' means 'weasel', while 'Same' (as in 'Kisame') means 'shark' - hence why he carries a sword called the 'Samehada', manipulates water and has gills. Although Itachi doesn't look like a weasel.
2. Which clan is symbolised by the object after which they're named?

Answer: The Uchiha clan

'Uchiha' sounds a bit like 'uchiwa', which means 'fan'. Guess what the aforementioned clan's symbol is? Sasuke's shirts all seem to have a fan on the back, as do clothes worn by other clan members.
3. Which animal is the odd one out?

Answer: Dog

The Japanese words for 'boar', 'deer' and 'butterfly' are 'ino', 'shika' and 'chou(chou)' - which are also the names of the three members of Team 10: Ino, Shikamaru and Chouji, also known as the 'InoShikaChou' trio. (See also: their dads, the original InoShikaChou trio). 'InoShikaChou' is also a combination in a Japanese card game, Koi-Koi, that can net you 30 points!
4. Which jounin's surname means 'flying monkey'?

Answer: Sarutobi Asuma

'Saru' means 'monkey', while 'tobi' means 'flying'. Random factoid: Asuma's dad was the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen. Aptly enough, the Third Hokage was able to summon a monkey called Enma, although the only time we saw him was in the fight against Orochimaru. Asuma was also the uncle of Sarutobi Konohamaru, Naruto's little friend, who might not look like a monkey, but certainly acts like one at times!
5. Our hero's surname, Uzumaki, means 'spiral'. It can also mean something similar found in the city of Naruto in Japan - but what?

Answer: Whirlpool

If you're crossing the Naruto bridge, you might spot the whirlpools in the Naruto Strait. Aptly enough, Naruto's mum, Uzumaki Kushina, came from the Land of the Whirlpool.
6. Which Naruto character would you find in the sea?

Answer: Umino Iruka

'Umi' means 'sea'. 'Iruka', incidentally, means 'dolphin' - no prizes for guessing where you might find one.
7. Which Naruto character would you wear on your head, and is also a type of beetle?

Answer: Kabuto

'Kabuto' means 'helmet', and 'kabutomushi' is also the Japanese name for the rhinoceros beetle (which does look a bit like it's wearing a helmet). One of the Tailed Beasts in the manga happens to be one of these beetles - it's a big fella with seven tails.
8. On which team might you find a screw and the heavens?

Answer: Team Gai

The 'screw' in question is Hyuuga Neji ('Neji' = 'screw'), and the 'heavens' is the surnameless Tenten ('ten' = 'heaven' or 'heavens'), who, along with Rock Lee, make up Team Gai. Unlike the more enthusiastic Lee, you won't catch them wearing spandex or waxing lyrical about youth and manliness.
9. This character might not seem particularly sweet, but her name is - apparently she's made of red bean paste and syrup-covered dumplings! But who is she?

Answer: Mitarashi Anko

Feisty kunoichi Anko is a huge fan of dango (dumplings) and it's hardly surprising, since that's what 'mitarashi' basically are. 'An', meanwhile - from where she gets her first name - is a sweet paste made of red azuki beans.
10. This is a bit harder - which season comes in between Sakura and Chouji?

Answer: Summer

'Haru', as in 'Haruno' Sakura, means 'spring'. 'Aki', as in 'Akimichi' Chouji, means 'autumn'. What comes between spring and autumn? Summer!
