1. 2. (1997) Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are there to keep track of all the alien life-forms living here on Earth. They have their work cut out for them though, when the Bug comes looking for Orion's Belt.

Fox decides to sell off everything he owns, and drag his family into the rainforests of Central America, where he sets up an ice making factory. River Phoenix plays his son Charlie who changes, throughout the course of the film, from idolizing his brilliant father, to hating him.
5. (1989) River Phoenix plays a young version of one of our favourite action heroes, and Sean Connery plays his father, in this quest to find the Holy Grail before it can fall into the hands of the Nazis.
6. (1974) Sean Connery played Colonel Arbuthnot, an English gentleman travelling in a luxurious train across Europe in 1935. When one of the other passengers is murdered, Detective Hercule Poirot soon learns that Arbuthnot had a motive for the murder. Unfortunately so did all of the other passengers in the car of the train, as well as one of the employees. In fact there were enough suspects to have one for every stab wound the victim received. Michael York played Count Andrenye.
7. (1973) There have been many versions of this film, but the one I'm after, starred Michael York as the young D'Artagnan, anxious to distinguish himself in the service of the Queen of France. However he soon finds that that may involve deceiving the King, and running afoul of the Cardinal. Oliver Reed played Athos.
8. (2000) Oliver Reed plays Proximo, the man who trains Maximus, played by Russell Crowe, in the skills needed to keep him alive in the bloodthirsty competitions so popular in the Roman Empire. And Maximus very much wants to stay alive, so he can exact revenge on the Emperor who killed his own father, betrayed Maximus and had his family killed.
9. (2001) Russell Crowe plays John Nash, a brilliant, Nobel Prize - winning, mathematician who struggles daily with schizophrenia. Ed Harris plays William Parcher, the special agent, who really doesn't exist, who hires Nash to be a cryptographer.
10. (1993) Ed Harris plays Wayne Tarrance, an F.B.I. agent who is trying to turn Mitch McDeere, played by Tom Cruise, into an informant. You see McDeere is a recent law school graduate, who has just taken a position with a wealthy, but low-profile law firm. What McDeere doesn't realize is that the law firm is very dirty, and no lawyer ever leaves it alive. Based on a novel by John Grisham.
