This is a great film by Ted Demme, who sadly died of a heart attack at the age of 38. The film follows the lives of several high school friends, during the week leading up to a high school reunion. Old rivalries and romances are brought up as the group reminisces. The film also starred Matt Dillon and Timothy Hutton.

This film marked the first ever scene starring both Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. They have worked together before, on "Godfather Part II", though never shared a scene, as De Niro's story was made up of flashbacks. In "Heat", Natlie Portman played Al Pacino's step-daughter, Lauren.

The film also starred Ellen Barkin and Leonardo Di Caprio, as De Niro's wife and stepson. This movie tells the story of life in a small town in the 1950s. It also features an appearance from a young Eliza Dushku.

"Pleasantville" is a story about two modern day high school kids who are sucked through their TV and find themselves living in a 1950s sitcom. This was the second film in which Tobey Maguire starred as Joan Allen's son. The first time was in Ang Lee's, "The Ice Storm".
