Someone with a grudge (and who hates musical theatre) is out for revenge for a past tragedy in this horror musical. Written and directed by Jerome Sable, this horror flick mixes the old slasher formula with singing and dancing. While it is a bit quirky at times, it's an interesting watch if you're a fan of different types of horror films.

Answer: American Mary

Katharine Isabelle stars in this film as a woman scorned and out to make money however she can to pay her debts. She is invited to a party where there are other surgeons from the hospital she works at, and while there she winds up being drugged and taken advantage of by several of the other doctors.

She then decides to quit school and start a business catering to an underground clientele of people who ask her to do very extreme and unethical surgeries on them to alter their bodies. As time goes on, Mary turns hard... and things take a turn for the worst!

Answer: Rusty Nail

The original film 'Joy Ride' came out in 2001 and stars Paul Walker, Steve Zahn, and Leelee Sobieski. In 2008 'Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead' was released, then 2014 saw the third installment which is subtitled 'Road Kill'. All three films are about a killer truck driver named Rusty Nail who chases and torments victims on the road before finally murdering them. Ken Kirzinger, who also stars in 'Freddy vs. Jason' (2003) and 'Wrong Turn 2: Dead End' (2007) plays the role of Rusty Nail in 'Joy Ride 3: Road Kill'.

Answer: Patient Zero

'Cabin Fever: Patient Zero' is the third film in the franchise. This one gives us a small group of friends who go to an island to celebrate at a private bachelor party. The water where they go swimming is contaminated, so if you have seen any of the other 'Cabin Fever' films, I'm sure you can figure out what happens next! Sean Astin stars.

Answer: The Crazies

Olyphant plays the role of David, who is the town sheriff in the 2010 remake of the 1973 cult classic. A virus outbreak causes the town to be under quarantine while the residents become permanently insane and go on murderous rampages. There are several differences in the plot of the two films. Radha Mitchell stars in the 2010 remake as Olyphant's wife, Judy.

Answer: The Final Terror

'The Final Terror' is a 1983 slasher film. Very early in their careers, this star studded cast of actors play a group of friends who go camping at the very same forest where a young couple was killed prior to the groups arrival. Something deadly does not want anyone roaming around the forest area... and unfortunately the campers wind up paying the price!

Answer: Wolf Creek

'Wolf Creek' (2005) and 'Wolf Creek 2' (2013) both star John Jarratt, who plays the role of an insane, brutal killer named Mick Taylor. Mick enjoys hunting people down in the Australian Outback to torture and murder them. While both of these films are far from being called dull, they are most definitely not for the squeamish! The killings are very violent, so much in fact that the first film's screenings caused many people to walk out of the theatre before the film was over.

Answer: Almost Human

Mark's best friend Seth knows something bad is about to happen and contacts Mark's girlfriend Jen, who has moved on to a new relationship since Mark's disappearance. When Mark arrives and meets up with Jen, he wants her to become just like him, and will stop at nothing to get his way! This film has a bit of an 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers' flavor to it, as well as a homage to the '80s slasher era.

Answer: Frankie Avalon

The young girl Marion is played by Donna Wilkes. She keeps having visions of murders committed by a man named Paul Foley (played by Avalon). Marion and Foley share blood through a transfusion earlier on, which somehow is the cause of the connection between them. Foley carries a special flute with him that he's had since he was a child, and he plays it at times throughout the film, hence the movie's title. Frankie Avalon is most well known for his roles with Annette Funicello in the famous "Beach Party" movies, as well as the film 'Grease' (1978).

Answer: Brace Yourself

'The Dentist 2: Brace Yourself' is the 1998 sequel to the 1996 horror film 'The Dentist'. Both of them star Corbin Bernsen in the title role as a demented dentist who goes nuts and decides to go on a killing spree after finding his wife cheating on him.

In this sequel, he continues his reign of terror after escaping from a mental institution. Brian Yuzna is the director of both films. The subtitle 'Brace Yourself' is an obvious pun towards teeth braces. The poster art for the film shows a victim with an open mouth full of what appears to be shards of glass where teeth should be.
