Directed by M. Night Shyamalan who also appeared as the character Ray, "Signs" was a box office success with revenues of more than $400 million on a budget of $72 million. The unexpected crop circles and animal aggression in the film is the result of aliens that have landed on Earth.

The aliens eventually leave after it is discovered that their skin deteriorates when in contact with water.

Answer: Sideways

Released in 2004, "Sideways" won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay and was nominated for Best Picture. In the film Miles and takes his soon to be married friend Jack on a road trip through wine country. Through their travels they discuss the difficulties of entering middle age, relationships, and work.

Answer: Eagle Eye

The film "Eagle Eye" begins with Jerry Shaw (Shia LaBeouf) attending the funeral of his twin brother who was in the Air Force. Shortly after he receives a large sum of money as well as weapons and classified documents seemingly framing him for a crime. Eventually Shaw and Rachel Holloman (Michelle Monaghan) are activated by the Autonomous Reconnaissance Intelligence Integration Analyst (ARIIA) which recruits civilians to promote national security.

However, ARIIA's mission for them is to eliminate the executive branch of government, an order that they are not willing to accept.

Answer: Australia

Not surprisingly, the two stars of the movie fall in love, get separated, and are then reunited toward the end of the film. Much of the plot of "Australia" takes place at a cattle station known as Faraway Downs which was owned by Sarah's deceased husband. Throughout the course of the movie Sarah befriends and cares for an Aboriginal boy named Nullah and together with Drover fend off Fletcher who seeks to take over Faraway Downs.

Answer: Solaris

The 1972 version of "Solaris" was directed by Soviet filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky while the 2002 version was directed by Steven Soderbergh and starred George Clooney. In both films the lead character is sent to a distant space station that orbits the planet Solaris.

While unraveling the mysteries of the crew and Solaris, Dr. Chris Kelvin reflects on his life on Earth and accepts that he may never return.

Answer: Hitch

"Hitch" was released in 2005 and the title refers to Will Smith character who is named Alex "Hitch" Hitchens. While he is very successful at helping other men gain confidence and attract women, Hitch struggles to win the heart of Sara Melas until he realizes that just being himself and not trying to impress is the best course of action.

Answer: Good Will Hunting

"Good Will Hunting" was a box office and critical success as it grossed $226 million on a budget of just $10 million and it earned Robin Williams an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and Matt Damon and Ben Affleck Best Original Screenplay. Throughout the film several experts try and tap into the potential of Will Hunting (Matt Damon) but he lacks the motivation. Eventually he ends up leaving Boston for California to see about a girl and start a new life.

Answer: Dazed and Confused

I love the tagline for "Dazed and Confused" which was "It was the last day of school in 1976, A time they'd never forget, If only they could remember". The film showed many of the less honorable parts of high school like bullying, hazing, drinking, and smoking as well as the influence that music had on the graduating class.

Answer: Starship Troopers

Panned by critics, "Starship Troopers" follows the story of Johnny Rico who is a member of the Mobile Infantry in mankind's battle against the 'Arachnids'. The division's exploits are used as propaganda to encourage viewers to enlist in the 'battle to save humanity'.

Answer: Legends of the Fall

The time frame of "Legends of the Fall" spanned the mid-1910s during World War I with a climatic ending in 1963 in which Tristan is fighting a grizzly bear. Throughout the film the Ludlow family copes with their mother leaving, the death of Tristan's wife, and their disagreements with the O'Banion brothers.

Answer: Tower Heist

Interestingly, the development behind "Tower Heist" began in 2005 and originally the film's plot was to have the cast rob Trump International Hotel and Tower. Several of the main characters in the film have their pensions invested with Shaw's company which embezzled $2 billion causing their pension plans to be unfunded.

While they are able to pilfer back some of their lost pension, they eventually have their own legal issues after their heist.

Answer: No Country for Old Men

Featuring top-notch acting by Josh Brolin as Llewelyn Moss, Javier Bardem as Anton Chigurh, and Tommy Lee Jones as Sheriff Ed Tom Bell, "No Country for Old Men" masterfully mixed the western genre with a fantastic story and action. Taking place in Texas in 1980, Moss takes a briefcase containing $2 million after he comes across a drug deal gone awry in which most of the culprits have killed each other. Tasked with locating Moss, Chigurh coldly kills anyone that gets in his way to retrieve the money.

Answer: Face/Off

In "Face/Off" Sean Archer (Travolta) is an FBI Special Agent whose son was unintentionally killed by Castor Troy (Cage). In order to locate a bomb, Sean Archer undergoes a face transplant so that he can look like Castor Troy and convince Castor's brother Pollux to disclose the bomb's location. Eventually Archer and Troy battle each other with Troy's character being killed and Archer's character having his face transplanted back to its former state.

Answer: License to Kill

"License to Kill" is widely considered one of the darker films in the "James Bond" series. In addition to torturing Leiter, Sanchez's henchmen also murder Leiter's wife. Bond is able to get revenge on Sanchez by destroying his drug smuggling base and causing his explosion that ends up killing him.

Answer: Easter Parade

"Easter Parade" was released in 1948 and it is well-known for its songs including "Easter Parade", "Steppin' Out with My Baby", and "We're a Couple of Swells". Fred Astaire starred as dancer Don Hewes whose partner has left him to start a solo career.

He determines that he will hire 'anyone' and make them a star and that anyone that he hires is Hannah Brown (Judy Garland) who he ends up falling in love with.
