Alfalfa is the one that puts something in Darla's dessert.

In the beginning of the movie, Spanky sends the dog to get all the rest of the boys for an emergency meeting. While the dog is waiting to cross the street, Spanky says, "Go get 'em Petey." At the actual meeting, Froggy stands at the door getting the password or "hi sigh" from everyone.

A boy walks up with a monkey on his shoulder. The boy gives the sign and Froggy says he can go in. Then the monkey gives the sign and Froggy says, "You too Elmer." Petey is seen and called upon all throughout the movie.

He saves Buckwheat from falling in the water while he is fishing. Elmer is only seen at the club meetings.

Just as Alfalfa and Darla are about to go on their date, Waldo comes and introduces himself. He is the new rich kid in town. He always wears suits and has his hair slicked back. He starts flirting with Darla. When Darla and Alfalfa go on their date, Alfalfa gets scared when the boys come banging on the door and he causes a fire in the clubhouse. Alfalfa tells Darla that he doesn't want the other guys to see her.

She takes it as Alfalfa is ashamed of her. Eventually, Waldo shows up and Darla walks away with him arm in arm.

When the boys win the race they are standing on stage with this woman who gives them their prize. Spanky is upset because he wanted A.J. Ferguson to give them their prize. Then Reba says, "Well, today is your lucky day cuz that's exactly who I am." She takes off her jacket to show her racing outfit. All the boys' jaws drop when they find out A.J Ferguson is a girl. Reba McEntire is sometimes called the "Queen of Country" because of all of her accomplishments.

As they are trying to get to Darla, they have to dress in tutus and wigs to get in and get mistaken for sugarplum fairies. So when the instructor comes to get the girls to go on stage, Spanky and Alfalfa get mixed in with the group. Turns out they ruin the whole recital since they obviously don't know the dance.

They start doing whatever they want and get the whole audience laughing. "The Nutcracker" is a ballet which is based on the book "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King", written by E.T.A. Hoffman.

They get a trophy and $500. The boys have been trying to get money to repair their clubhouse. So they set up a booth to collect admission for the talent show, which is supposed to be free. When they get caught, Spanky convinces the woman who caught them to give the money to the winners of the go-kart derby.

Alfalfa loses it. When he drives to the talent show to try and get Darla back, he parks it out in the open. The bullies see it and drive off with it. All the boys get mad and Alfalfa and Spanky start yelling at each other. Spanky says he wants to throw Alfalfa out of the club, but instead, Alfalfa says he quits.
