Christina, his daughter cuts her hair because she is sick of his cheating. She confronts him about this in the section before this, Hair by Night. He tells her to smile, and she says "Your cheating!". He smile and says to her quietly "I'm winning". When he finds her later on, she has cut her hair.

He looks devastated asks her "What have you done?". She just stares at him, and he says to Luey his co-worker, 'Luey, get me another model'. Then he walks out.

Christina is the daughter of the famous hardresser Ray Robertson. She is staying out on a farm because their hotel suite was given to someone else (the Style Warriors), and there were no other rooms left in the town. The farm they were staying at belonged to Noah, the sheep farmer.

He keeps having his sheep stolen, and Christina asks if he could tell which ones were his sheep. Noah replies with "One sheep looks pretty much like any other sheep". So Christina fixes this by dying his sheep all different colours.

Phil, Shelley, Sandra and Brian are all on speaking terms. At the end of the movie they are seen congratulating each other, then Phil says "Let's go home." They all put their arms around each other, and walk out.

Shelley styles an old lady's hair for this section. I think this is great because all the other competitors had models, but she had an old lady. She styled it in an old fashioned way, with pink roses in her hair. They won this section of the competition.

Brian completed the first and second sections, Shelley did the third, while Phil came in last for the Total Look. This was a surprise because he swore he wouldnt do it again. But he and Sandra sorted out their differences. When they walk out together, combined with the music, it leaves you with a tingly, happy feeling.

They did really well considering the how bad the first section was completed. This was because Brian was chased out of the room, so he didn't have time to finish. Raymond's score of 90 in Total Look gives him a final score of 334. After this, it is Phil's turn.

He gets 94 points for his creation of Sandra, which gives him a score of 335 and the title of British Hairdressing Champion of 2000 - his third.

Phil was Hairdresser of the year in '80, '81, '82, and twice British Hairdressing Champion in '81 and '82. He must have been pretty good. Even Ray was worried that Phil may be competing in the competition at Keighley, because he knew how good Phil was.

But Phil had no intention of competing, but they needed him for the section Total Look.I think it's great when he comes back, it gave me a happy feeling to see him walking in to meet Sandra before taking their positions. It just seemed natural to him, and he seemed in his element.

He could tell, by looking at it: What shampoo he used and how long ago he washed it. Finally he looked at the back of his hair, and said "cut by Phil Allen". He was afraid about this and looked at Luey, but he assured him that Phil had been out of it for years, and not to worry.

It was obviously a stress to Ray to find out his rival was in the same town as he, and could very well be taking part in the competition. He knew how good Phil Allen was, and it worried him. Ray had won the competition the past two years, and wanted this one to be his third.

He was afraid Phil would compete for he knew he would most likely lose. Upset about this, but determined to win, he went and visited Phil to see for himself if he was competing. They hadn't seen each other for years.

Still Life is the first to be seen when the scene comes back to the competition. The second is the Style Warriors, who announce "Ebony, as Winter". After this the Kilburn Cutters announce Marriage, then Ray with Nefertiti.
Now, it's Phil's turn. Everyone waited quietly in expectation, then Phil announces "Sandra, well, as Sandra". The crowd cheers as Sandra comes forward, in a very imaginative costume. With Phil's unexpected comeback, he wins that section with enough points to take the crown. They win, Ray loses, and it's a fitting ending.

They were gold, the only ones we see like this. When Ray goes to visit Phil towards the beginning of the movie, he asks Phil "Are we going to see the flashing scissors tomorrow?". To which Phil replies, "No".

Daisy is the old lady who Shelley uses as her model in the section Hair by Night. She is blind. Shelley's other model had her hair dyed green accidentally by leaving her highlights in too long, so was replaced with Daisy.
