Frank Morris (1926- missing since June 11, 1962) was a criminal who attempted to escape from Alcatraz Island and has been missing ever since. He did attempt the escape with the Anglin brothers, John and Clarence. In the movie Clarence Anglin was played by Jack Thibeau and Charlie Butts was played by Larry Hankin. John Patrick Mason was the name of the character played by Sean Connery in "The Rock" (1996).

The Black Widows are lead by Cholla (John Quade) and eventually befriend Philo and protect him towards the end of the movie. The biker gang also appeared in the 1978 movie "Every Which Way but Loose". "The Hellcats" (1968) and "The Rebel Rousers" (1967) were names of movies released in the 1960's about biker gangs.

The Black Rebels was the name of a biker gang in the movie "The Wild One" (1953) starring Marlon Brando.

Burt Reynolds (b. 1936) began his acting career on TV in 1959 in "M Squad". He has also directed and produced movies in a career that spans seven decades. During the filming of "City Heat", Burt Reynolds was struck in the face by a metal chair and had his jaw broken which left him with a TMJ disorder.

Alison Eastwood (b. 1972-mother Maggie Johnson) is an actress, director, model and fashion designer. She made her film debut (uncredited) as a seven year old in "Bronco Billy". Francesca Eastwood (b. 1993-mother Frances Fisher) is also an actress, model, television personality and socialite. Kathryn Eastwood (b. 1988-mother Jacelyn Reeves) and Morgan Eastwood (b. 1996 - mother Diana Ruiz) are two of his other daughters. Clint has three other children, Kimber Eastwood (b. 1964-mother Roxanne Tunis), Kyle Eastwood (b. 1968-mother Maggie Johnson) and Scott Eastwood (b. 1986-mother Jacelyn Reeves).

Tommy Nowak was known for dressing up in disguises to fool whomever he was after. A romance blossoms with the lady he is chasing, Lou Ann McGuinn (Bernadette Peters) and all ends well. Roy McGuinn (Timothy Carhart) is the no-good husband of Lou Ann and is a member of a supremacist group. Gerry Bamman is an actor who played the role of Buddy in the movie and Buddy Van Horn directed the movie. Jim Carrey (comedian) and Bryan Adams (singer, musician) made cameo appearances in the movie, as a stand-up comedian and a gas station attendant respectively.

John Malkovich (b. 1953) is an actor, director, producer and fashion designer. For his role in this movie as the assassin (Mitch Leary), who tries to kill the President of the United States, he received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Unfortunately he lost out to Tommy Lee Jones in "The Fugitive".
Robert De Niro was first offered the role of Mitch Leary but had to turn it down due to the scheduling of another movie. Dylan McDermott played Frank Horrigan's partner and Gary Cole played Bill Watts, Frank's superior officer.

Rigo Sanchez (Jay Galloway) is found by accident by Mickey and she convinces the Braves to give him a try out. Bo Gentry (Joe Massingill), although not rated by Gus and against his wishes, is given a try out with the Braves. This is suggested by Philip Sanderson (Matthew Lillard) who is trying to get Gus fired. Rigo pitches fastballs and curves that Bo cannot hit and is finally signed by the Braves.

The management then realise that they were wrong about Philip's judgement of Bo and Gus is given an extended contract as a scout. Johnny "The Flame" Flanagan (Justin Timberlake) was a former player that Gus had scouted and who has a crush on Mickey (Amy Adams). Pete Klein (John Goodman) is a friend and the boss of Gus.

Answer: Mystic River

Clint has composed the scores for most of his films since "Mystic River". He is credited with the musical score on the other three movies mentioned, which he also directed. In "A Perfect World" he wrote "Big Fan's Baby", in "Bridges of Madison County" he wrote "Doe Eyes", and in "Unforgiven" he wrote "Claudia's Theme". "Mystic River" (2003) was the first movie since "Ben Hur" (1959) to win both Academy Awards for Best Actor (Sean Penn) and Best Supporting Actor (Tim Robbins).
