Peter, the owner of Average Joe's, has thirty days to raise $50,000 in order to save the gym. Peter and other members of Average Joe's enter a dodgeball tournament and end up in the finals against White and his team, The Globo-Gym Purple Cobras, with the winner receiving $50,000. Vince Vaughn and Justin Long also star in this film.

Will Ferrell plays the role of Phil Weston. Phil takes over the head coaching job of the Tigers and finds himself competing against his dad, who is first at everything when it comes to competition against Phil. With the help of Mike Ditka, Phil leads the Tigers to the championship game against his dad and the Gladiators.

Dane Cook plays the role of Zack Bradley. When Amy, a new employee, joins the Super Club team, Zack cranks up the brown-nosing to its highest level. Zack has heard that Amy slept with the employee of the month at her last job (turns out it was her boyfriend who won it), resulting in the motivation he needs to try and take the title.

The only person standing in his way is Vince. Vince is going for his 18th title in a row, which had never been done at Super Club. Earning number 18 will result in him winning a new car.

Terry Crews plays the role of Latrell. Latrell is a rich African American basketball player who is hooked on white chicks. Marcus, disguised as Tiffany Wilson, catches Latrell's attention and Latrell goes as far as taking a bullet for her (though at the time, he doesn't know that she is really a he).

After taking the bullet, Latrell is more upset about the color of the skin than he is about it being a man in disguise. Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans also star in this film.

Martin Lawrence plays the role of Bobby. Bobby is a stay at home dad who makes a deal with his wife that allows him take a year off work to write a book. The year is up, so Bobby's wife arranges for him to get his old job back at The Firm. It turns out that his old job is in the plumbing division of The Firm. Woody wants the four to take a road trip to California but Bobby is afraid to ask his wife. Bobby ends up lying to his wife, telling her he is going to a seminar in Cleveland, in order to go on the trip.

The four take the trip and Bobby's wife finds out about the lie (meeting up with him in Madrid, New Mexico), resulting in Bobby verbaly lashing out at his wife for the way she is so controlling. She apologizes, allowing Bobby to continue the trip. Tim Allen is also in the movie, playing the role of Doug.

Jackie Gleason plays the role of U.S. Bates. His son Eric is home from military school and has no one to play with. Being told he could have anything in the department store owned by his daddy, Eric decides he wants Jack, who is working in the store, and at that time, is trying to save a Wonder Wheel toy. Eric tells the employees of his daddy to wrap him up, and after offering enough money to Jack, they do. U.S. Bates feeels that anyone will do anything for the right price, and in the case of Jack, he is right. Richard Pryor plays the role of Jack Brown.

Seth Green plays the role of Dan. While fishing during their adventure, a grizzly bear approaches the three young men. Dan trips and falls while running from the bear. Tom and Jerry yell at him to "assume the fetal position". Dan assumes the position, only to be carried off by the bear, as the bear thinks that Dan is one of her cubs. Dan later escapes the bear and the three friends hide and sleep in a tree.

They wake up to find that the bear has destroyed their camp and their map.

Sam Kinison's role is small, but very funny. Professor Terguson would scream the words "SAY IT, SAY IT" after asking Thornton a question about the Korean War (Terguson calls it the Korean Conflict). Rodney Dangerfield plays the role of Thornton Melon.
