Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What was the name of the Atlantean love interest of Milo in the Disney film "Atlantis: The Lost Empire"?

Answer: Kida

Kida was the first person that Milo interacted with when he and his crew first discovered Atlantis, and despite the king's orders Kida made sure that their crew stayed in Atlantis. She thought Milo was the key to unlocking the true secrets behind the Atlantean's own culture, and they both soon fell in love, which led to Milo staying in Atlantis while his crew went back to the surface.
2. What is the name of the body builder toy found in the original Pixar film "Toy Story"?

Answer: Rocky

This character is one of the more obscure toys in the film, despite him actually helping out in the plot. During the climax as Woody and Buzz are speeding towards the moving van, Rocky pulls the lever that makes it easier for them to climb back into the van, but his plan is cut short by the RV car running out of batteries.
3. Which of these Disney movies never had a sequel released straight-to-DVD, but was going to before it was cancelled by John Lasseter?

Answer: Dumbo

"Dumbo" was originally going to have a sequel, but unlike most of them it was canceled before it was put on store shelves, as John Lasseter, who was one of the heads at Pixar, demanded that no more straight-to-DVD sequels based on Disney films be made.
4. What was the name of the popular neon motorcycles used in the "Tron" series of films?

Answer: Lightcycles

These unique vehicles were the basis for the "Tron" arcade game that our main characters were sucked into, and they were originally only be able to move in four directions, but in the sequel, "Tron Legacy", they could move in any direction possible on the battlefield.
5. What lovable Disney character makes a cameo appearance as a stuffed doll in the Disney film "Treasure Planet"?

Answer: Stitch

This is found in the main character's bedroom when he is a young kid reading a bedtime story IN THE FUTURE, which basically just means it's a holographic projection so future kids can just pretend to read instead of actually doing it.
6. In "The Great Mouse Detective", what world-famous fictional detective lived in the main character's home?

Answer: Sherlock Holmes

Despite Sherlock Holmes living in the house, surprisingly he never actually shows up in the film. He is seen in shadows in some scenes, but is never fully shown on screen, so his role is somewhat downplayed.
7. Who was the only cartoon character that the cop still admired after one killed his brother in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"

Answer: Betty Boop

It even shows on his office desk, as the only toon merchandise he has is a Betty Boop doll, and he shows his affection by complimenting her in a restaurant.
8. What were the names of the three gargoyles in "The Hunchback of Notre Dame"?

Answer: Victor, Hugo, and Laverne

These gargoyles convinced Quasimodo to go out of the Church during the Feast of Fools, and did many more things to help out Quasimodo in the film even if they may just be imaginary.
9. In the original script for "Lilo & Stitch", where did Stitch land instead of Hawaii?

Answer: Kansas

There's not much known about what was going on during that time in the film's production, as a final script hadn't even been made yet, and the script had to be changed drastically during the time between then and when it was released.
10. What was the main character's name in a film never officially released by Disney, but was in production for thirty years before it was officially scrapped?

Answer: Chanticleer

The film was going to star a chicken as the main lead, but it was scrapped as the people at Disney decided that a chicken would have no true personality. That was then challenged by Don Bluth in his film "Rock-A-Doodle", where the main character was a chicken with the same name, which makes sense, as Bluth was an ex Disney employee.
