The baby Qilin is taken to Grindelwald who slits its throat and holds it while it dies. Qilins are able to see the future and, in killing it, Grindelwald acquires this ability, to a certain extent. He is later seen in a pool of water holding the lifeless form underwater, bringing it back to life through unspecified magic, but likely some form of necromancy.
This acquired ability to see the future makes it more difficult for Dumbledore and friends to defeat him. They have to make sure that all of the details of the plan are not known by all of the group.

Answer: decoy suitcases

After comforting the mother as she dies, Newt picks up the second newborn and places it in his trusty, magical, brown suitcase. At one point Newt's assistant, Bunty Broadacre, takes the suitcase to a leather shop and asks to have duplicates made. The man asked to make the replicas is not allowed to open the original (for obvious reasons) and only given a short time to complete them.

She asks for half a dozen, which is a little confusing as that plus the original would make seven but there were only six in total. Five were presented to the group who each took one to look after, more or less randomly. Jacob went to lift one and Dumbledore gently shook his head. Jacob hesitated over a second one, only lifting it when Dumbledore nodded.

This was a bit of a red herring. Jacob's case ended up containing baked goods which exploded out of the case and multiplied when opened by one of Grindelwald's group.

Answer: ceremony known as Walk of the Qilin

Because Qilins are able to see into peoples' hearts, to judge their purity and bow to the worthy, this method of selection seems foolproof. At the beginning of the election Anton Vogel, the current Supreme Mugwump until after the election, explains this to the crowd.

Answer: Gellert Grindelwald

Gellert produces the Qilin which he killed and re-animated and therefore controls. It is put down in a position where it walks past the other candidates and bows before Grindelwald. The crowd goes wild as they have no reason to doubt the Qilin.

Answer: the non-magical world

In an earlier scene, while trying to protect Vicencia Santos (a candidate for Supreme Mugwump) from an assassination attempt, Jacob points his coreless wand at Grindelwald who is unharmed. Jacob and Lally are able to thwart the attempt. Spotting him in the crowd at the election, Grindelwald singles Jacob out, calling him an assassin and using him as an example of how Muggles are a threat to the wizarding world. Grindelwald uses a Cruciatus curse against Jacob, causing him enormous pain.

Answer: Bunty Broadacre

Bunty, Newt's assistant, produces the original suitcase which, when opened, reveals the twin Qilin. The Qilin re-animated by Grindelwald dies when its twin appears. As she moves forward with the as yet unopened suitcase, Bunty reminds Newt that not everyone is allowed to know all details of the plan.
When the five suitcases were dispensed, Bunty was not in the room and did not pick one up. This sixth case was obviously in her possession before the others were given out, another ruse to cloud Grindelwald's ability to see the future.

Answer: Vicencia Santos

The Qilin initially bows to Albus Dumbledore, who very gently tells it that, although honoured, he does not want the position. He points out that just as there had been two Qilins born, he was certain that there is someone else who is also deserving of the honour. The Qilin then bows to Vicencia Santos, the Brazilian Minister for Magic and one of the original candidates.

Answer: the streams from their wands meet

As Grindelwald attacks Credence, who is already obviously weak, both Albus and Aberforth step forward to defend him. Unable to attack Grindelwald directly, Albus directs the magic from his wand at the stream of magic from Grindelwald's wand that is attacking Credence.

The locket breaks apart and the chain falls off. Sensing defeat Grindelwald disapparates to fight another day. Aberforth takes Credence, presumably home to die, and they also disapparate.

Answer: at Jacob's bakery

Clearly nervous and dressed in tails, Jacob is seen bustling around the bakery giving instructions to everyone on everything that has not been done to his exacting standards (which is pretty much everything). Every time he sees Queenie, dressed in her wedding gown, he covers his eyes, presumably because of the old superstition about not seeing the bride before the wedding.

Answer: Picket

Newt Scamander, also in tails, is obviously the best man. He is even more nervous than Jacob is and is seen outside the bakery practicing his speech. Dumbledore can be seen sitting on a bench across the street, taking everything in.
When Newt is questioned about whether he has the ring or not Newt's pet Bowtruckle, Picket, sticks his head out of Newt's pocket with the ring around his neck.
