Friday the 13th: Part III Trivia Quiz

Answer: Shelly does not drop anything.

Vera is the one that accidentally drops Shelly's wallet in the lake. While Vera is sitting on the pier she realizes that she still has Shelly's wallet. Vera pulls the wallet out of her pocket and opens it. She looks at the picture of Shelly and his mom. Vera hears a noise behind her and drops the wallet. She goes down to the shore and takes her shoes off to get into the water. Vera picks the wallet up from the surface of the lake. While she is shaking the water out of the wallet, Jason comes out of the barn. Vera thinks Jason is Shelly and starts to apologize for dropping his wallet. Vera realizes that Jason isn't Shelly. Vera asks, "Who are you?". Jason aims a speargun at Vera and shoots her in the eye.

On the DVD extras, you learn they shot this in one take because of the prosthetics. The prosthetic would absorb water as soon as it hit the lake. Catherine Parks plays the role of Vera. Larry Zerner plays the part of Shelly, the nerd.

Answer: fish food

Harold is sitting at the counter of his store, he is feeding his fish. The fish is not eating the flakes of food. Harold then tries the fish food and likes it. He continues to eat the fish food until he reads that it contains day fly eggs. Harold spits the fish food out of his mouth. Harold sees his pet rabbit in the produce. He picks the rabbit up to take it back to it's cage. While he is taking the rabbit back he eats some peanuts, drinks some orange juice, and eats a donut.

Harold and his wife, Edna, are the first two people in the movie to be killed. Jason kills Edna with a knitting needle to the back of the head. Harold is killed when Jason plants an axe in his chest. Steve Susskind plays the role of Harold, who is always eating something. Cheri Maugans plays the role of Edna, who is always bickering at Harold.

Answer: Richard Brooker

For the third installment of the film, Richard Booker plays Jason Voorhees. Chris jumps out from behind a stack of hay to surprise Jason. Chris then smacks Jason upside the head with a shovel and knocks him out. She then wraps a rope around his neck so when he falls, he will break his neck. Chris then pushes Jason off of the top of the barn's loft. Chris opens the barn door and Jason is dangling there supposedly dead. Jason suddenly pulls himself up and gets out of the rope.

This is the only time Richard plays Jason. His massive physique just lends to his portrayal of Jason as an unstoppable killer. Richard plays Jason in a way few have since, he actually runs after his victims. In my opinion, Richard is the most effective Jason to date. Ari Lehman, Kane Hodder, and Derek Mears have all played Jason in different installments. Richard also has roles in the movies "Deathstalker" and "Deep Sea Conspiracy".

Answer: Debbie

Debbie announces several times during the movie she is expecting. The father of the baby is Andy. Andy and Debbie both go down to the lake for a swim. Debbie has on a blue bikini and is not showing at all. Debbie and Andy walk back from the lake and Andy wants to explore the barn. Debbie suggests otherwise and the two go to the house. As they walk away, Jason is seen staring out the barn window.

Debbie is played by Tracie Savage. Jeffrey Rogers plays Andy, the hand walker.

Answer: Machete

Andy walks into the bathroom where Debbie is showering. He asks her if she wants a beer and she say "yes". Andy is walking on his hands out of the bedroom. Jason is waiting for Andy outside of the bedroom. Andy looks up and sees Jason standing right in front of him. Jason takes his machete and splits Andy right down the middle. Debbie, his girlfriend, is the next to be killed.


This is my favorite kill out of all the series. In my opinion, it is the most unique in the series. The way they shot it just made it look that much more believable. The special effects on this shot are incredible.

Answer: All of these.

This yellow Volkswagen Bug is put through the ringer. Vera borrows the car to go to the store and Shelly tags along. While they are at the store some bikers harass them. Shelly accidentally backs into the bikes and knocks them over. Ali, the leader of the bike gang, punches the window out with a chain.

Shelly drives off and then turns around and runs over their bikes. When they get back to the house, Rick sees his car all damaged. Rick is mad and is leaving. Chris goes with him to talk. When they are sitting out in the woods, his battery dies on the car. Rick and Chris have to walk back to the house.

Answer: Fangoria

Debbie has just got out of the shower. She goes into the room Andy and her are sharing. There is no bed in the room, but a hammock serves as one. Debbie gets in the hammock to read the "Fangoria" magazine. She reads the magazine and blood drips down on it. She looks up and sees Andy's dead body. Jason is under the hammock and stabs Debbie through the throat.

"Fangoria" is the leading magazine for all things horror. The insert of the book in the movie is a homage to the magazine. The magazine also contains an article on Tom Savini, the special effect man on the first "Friday" movie.

Answer: Jason crushes his head in.

Chris comes running out of the house, she is calling frantically for Rick. Jason has Rick around the corner of the house, he is covering Rick's mouth so he can not scream. Chris goes back inside the house to look for Rick. Jason picks Rick up by his head and starts to squeeze. Jason crushes Rick's head which causes his eyeball to pop out. Jason then throws Rick's dead body through a window where Chris is standing.


In the DVD extras, they tell how they got Rick's eye to pop. They attached the eye to a piece of string so when the eye popped it flew out. Paul Kratka plays the role of Rick, Chris's love interest.

Answer: popcorn

Chuck is making popcorn in the kitchen, and the popcorn is going everywhere. Chuck tries to catch the popcorn in his mouth. Chili walks in and starts to add salt to the popcorn. The lights in the house go out and Chili tells Chuck to check the fuse box. Chuck goes down to the fuse box and turns it back on. When the lights come on, Jason is behind Chuck. Jason pushes Chuck into the fuse box and electrocutes him.

David Katims plays the role of the free wheeling Chuck. Chili is played by Rachael Howard.

Answer: Chili

Shelly stumbles into the kitchen, his throat has been cut. Chili thinks it is another one of his tricks. Chili tells Shelly to stop playing around. Shelly slides down to the floor. Chili tells him to get up and stop playing around. Chili realizes Shelly is dead.

She runs upstairs to Debbie and Andy's room and screams. Chili then runs downstairs and is confronted by Jason. Jason kills Chili with a fire poker through her stomach. Rick is the next person to die.
