"GMK" was the first "Godzilla" movie to feature a director that was not of Toho. Shusuke Kaneko was famous for his directing jobs on the Heisei "Gamera" movies. An interesting thing about "GMK" was that the movie came about after Toho declined the "Godzilla vs Gamera" movie.

The next movie to be directed by a non Toho member was "Godzilla Final Wars", this movie was directed by Ryuhei Kitamura, one of his most famed jobs on directing goes to "Versus".

Right before Godzilla did battle with Aspiga, the words New Guinea appeared at the bottom of the screen, giving you the location where the fight was taking place. Each monster that fought Godzilla was sent to a different place, which was also shown on the screen. Godzilla had spun Aspiga around by its web before sending him flying into the blue.

After that he went on to do battle with the rest of the monsters controlled by the Xilians, later to do battle with and destroy Kaiser Ghidora.

King Ghidora actually fought for humans as part of the Holy Yamato Creatures in "GMK All Out Monsters Attack". He was also accompanied by Mothra and Baragon whose spirits went into Godzilla, thus enabling him to be destroyed by blowing himself up when he used his thermal blast, due to the hole drilled in his body, and the wound inflicted in his chest.

Zillas' horrible fight lasted 13 seconds. He was also considered a tuna eating monster that was useless. This all began because Roland Emmerich did a bad job on the "Godzilla" movie filmed in America.
