Answer: Hardly any (it's the same day)

"Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay" starts where the previous movie left off, and we see Harold blissfully thinking about his new-found love with Maria as he takes a refreshing shower immediately after the boys' adventure-filled journey to find "the perfect food".

His romanticism is soon shattered, however, by his somewhat inconsiderate room mate. You'll have to watch the movie for yourself to see what I mean!

2. The boys don't have long to get freshened up and packed as they need to get to the airport to fly to which European city?

Answer: Amsterdam

At the end of the first movie, as Harold finally plucks up the courage to tell Maria how he feels about her, she advises him that she is going to Amsterdam for ten days. Kumar manages to persuade his friend that they should fly to Amsterdam and find Maria, however as we soon find out, their journey to the capital of the Netherlands is not going to be as straightforward and direct as they thought.

At the airport, Harold walks through the security scanner without being challenged, however as Kumar walks through, a TSA guard stops him, even though the scanner didn't beep, for a "random security check". In the ensuing argument, Kumar suggests that the TSA guard looks like which of the following "Friends" actors?

Clearly feeling that he is being unfairly singled out, Kumar says, "Random, huh? So this has nothing to do with my ethnicity?" When Kumar questions whether the TSA guard is a racist, the guard replies, "Dude, I'm black", to which Kumar responds, "Please dude, you're barely even brown." The fracas causes a senior TSA guard to come over, and when Kumar suggests he might call the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), the senior guard lets Kumar go without being searched. We find out a little later that Kumar's motivation for not being searched was a little more than unfair racial profiling, as he pulls a small bag of weed out of his pants whilst the two boys are in the toilet of the airplane.

4. As they boys settle themselves onto the plane they start getting excited about their latest adventure. Harold declares, "I'm taking a whole week off from work here man... this is nuts, this is nuts!". Kumar responds by saying, "I know dude, it's going to be exactly like ________, only it's not going to suck, it's going to be awesome!" What goes in the blank?

Answer: Eurotrip

Kumar's disparaging nod to the 2004 comedy movie "Eurotrip" is a reference to the similarity of the plots of the two movies, as in both of which, our protagonists are making a somewhat out-of-character trip to Europe so that they can find and be with the girl of their dreams.

5. As Kumar exits the airplane toilet, what do the other passengers think he says he is holding?

Answer: Bomb

Kumar burst into the airplane toilet whilst Harold was relieving himself as he wanted to show him his invention, the smokeless bong. Harold leaves the toilet in disbelief that Kumar would bring drugs onto an airplane when they were soon going to be in "the weed capital of the world", leaving Kumar to "take the inaugural hit".

However as Harold leaves, the airplane is hit by a bit of turbulence, causing the toilet door to come open, thereby revealing to the cabin Kumar's attempts to light his bong. One lady passenger yells, "Terrorist!" Harold states that "this is just a bong", which the passengers mishear as "bomb", unleashing panic, and causing the boys to be arrested by the air marshals that were on the plane.

6. Having been arrested on the airplane as suspected terrorists, the boys are locked up in Guantanamo Bay. Their stay in the maximum security prison is somewhat brief, however, but how do they manage to escape?

Answer: Climb over another inmate who has been electrocuted on the perimeter fence

You will need to watch the movie yourself for the details (as they are a little too "risque" to be mentioned here), but two other prisoners "incapacitate" the two guards that were "inspecting" the cells at the time, causing those two prisoners and Harold and Kumar to escape through their unlocked cell doors. One of the other prisoners tries to escape by using a tall sign that says "Danger - High Voltage - Keep Away" as a crude ramp to run up and over the electrified perimeter fence, however the fence does its job and promptly electrocutes him, also resulting in power loss to the site. Seeing their opportunity to escape, the boys unceremoniously run up the "ramp", clamber over the newly electrocuted convict, and make their dash for freedom!

7. Having escaped from Guantanamo Bay, Harold and Kumar manage to "hitch a ride" to Miami aboard a Cuban refugee boat. Once in Miami, they head to the mansion of their friend Raza Syed. What type of party is Raza throwing?

Answer: Bottomless

Harold and Kumar are surprised to see that none of the party guests (who all appear to be women) are wearing bottoms. Raza justifies his party by declaring, "I'm sick of all the hype over topless... I'm starting the bottomless trend, hence the bottomless party."

8. Raza kindly lends Harold and Kumar one of his cars so they can drive to Texas to ask the well-connected Colton Graham (Harold's old friend and the fiance of Kumar's ex-girlfriend, Vanessa) to help them out of their predicament. As the boys make their long drive from Miami to Texas, Kumar reminisces about his relationship with Vanessa, and we see a flashback of Kumar first meeting Vanessa where?

Answer: School library

Kumar's flashback shows us that he was originally a somewhat different character form the Kumar we know today! Frustrated that he is unable to study in the main section of the library due to rowdy students, Kumar heads to the library stacks to get some peace and quiet, and it is here that he meets Vanessa. Unfortunately Kumar's reminiscing means he is not keeping an eye on the directions, and the boys realise they are in Birmingham, Alabama, and somewhat lost.

9. Lost in Birmingham, Alabama, Harold and Kumar soon come across a group of men playing what sport in the street?

Answer: Basketball

Thinking better of disrupting the game, Harold declares, "I'm turning around," to which Kumar replies, "Nah, just go through, man." All of a sudden the biggest player appears out of the crowd holding the ball and growls, "It's my ball," causing the boys to quickly agree that turning around is indeed the best option.

However in his haste to retreat, Harold reverses the convertible directly into a fire hydrant.

10. The water spewing from the damaged fire hydrant soon reaches a boombox that is sat on the floor, immediately shorting it out, and causing the group of men to stop their game and look over to Harold and Kumar. Which of the following does NOT happen next?

Answer: The water reaches a generator and shorts out the entire neighborhood.

Despite being a little frustrated that their game has come to an abrupt halt, we quickly find out that the "scary looking" group of men are actually rather benevolent. Whilst Harold and Kumar hotfoot it out of there down a convenient alleyway, the group walk over to the car with crowbars and a spare tire and exclaim, "Where y'all going?" and "We were just to help." They subsequently call the police, and the team who have been trying to trace our intrepid duo duly turn up.
