Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. After crashing the car they borrowed from Raza Syed into a fire hydrant and running off down an alley, we next see Harold and Kumar in a wooded area in Alabama. They take time out of their predicament to appreciate the "beautiful Alabama landscape", including what type of animal that comes to say hello to them?

Answer: Baby deer

The boys have seemingly forgotten all about the fact that they are wanted fugitives as they stroke the baby deer that has come to say hello to them, however the idyllic moment is soon shattered as we hear a gunshot, see blood splatter on Harold's face, and realise that the baby deer has been shot by a farmer.

It should be noted that, as per the credits at the end of the movie, "no animals were harmed in the making of this movie".
2. Whilst at the home of the Alabaman farmer and his wife, where do Harold and Kumar hide when there is a knock on the door?

Answer: Basement

Harold and Kumar are enjoying supper with the farmer Raymus and his wife Raylene when there is a knock at the door. Fearing that the Feds have found them, Harold and Kumar give a swift recap of their predicament to their hosts, who, to the boys' surprise, believe them. Raymus advises the boys to hide in the basement whilst he "handles this".

As it turns out, it was only the neighbours at the door.
3. In a reversal of the original movie, Harold and Kumar are picked up at the side of the road by Neil Patrick Harris. From which of the following are the boys running when they are rescued by NPH?

Answer: The KKK

Having left the home of farmer Raymus and his wife Raylene, the boys come across a KKK bonfire. They inadvertently get involved in proceedings, but their cover is soon blown and they once again find themselves fleeing through the woods. They come to a road, and flag down an approaching car, which is being driven by their old friend from the original movie, Neil Patrick Harris.
4. As the trio drive to Texas, they come across a roadblock that has been set up by the Feds. Agent Fox walks over to their car and, on seeing that Neil Patrick Harris is the driver, declares that it is "an honour to meet you, sir". As Agent Fox continues his praise of his acting idol, what mythical creature does NPH "see" behind him?

Answer: Unicorn

Neil has been chomping on "shrooms" and drinking beer and whiskey during the drive, so he isn't exactly in the most sober state of mind. Trying to hold it together, he burbles, "Please I, I really need to go", to which Agent Fox replies, "Of course, I'm so sorry to bother you - move along." A lucky escape for our "fugitives"!
5. Does Neil Patrick Harris die in the movie?

Answer: No

After their lucky escape at the roadblock, Neil informs Harold and Kumar that they are going to a whorehouse. We soon find out that NPH is a regular customer, but he probably won't be welcomed back after this latest encounter! Neil's chosen lady comes running out of their room apparently in pain, and then she reveals that Neil has branded her... with his initials! Realising that trouble is brewing, Kumar retrieves Neil's car keys from his jacket, and encourages Harold to come with him as they steal Neil's car to make a quick getaway, once again, a reversal of the first movie.

As the duo speed away, Harold gets Kumar to stop as they can't just leave Neil behind, however as Neil walks towards the car, the whore house proprietor shoots him twice in the back, causing him to spurt blood and flop to the ground.

As Harold and Kumar drive away, sad music plays, and Harold tearfully says good bye to Neil. HOWEVER, we find out right at the end of the movie that Neil did NOT in fact die... paving the way for his inclusion in the third movie!
6. Harold and Kumar eventually arrive in Hewitt, Texas, and make their way to the house where Colton grew up. Harold insists, in no uncertain terms, that Kumar remain in the car whilst he goes to speak with Colton. However, Kumar ignores Harold's warnings when he sees Vanessa do what?

Answer: Break the heel of her shoe

Vanessa has snuck out of the house to have a sneaky joint which she has hidden under a small rock. However, once she has retrieved it, she breaks the heel of her shoe and falls to the ground. Worried about his ex-girlfriend, Kumar gets out of the car and checks that Vanessa hasn't done any serious damage.
7. What song does Agent Fox listen to on the plane that is taking Harold and Kumar back to Guantanamo Bay?

Answer: Danger Zone

Having "sorted everything out", Colton drives the boys to Hewitt Regional Airport so they can use one of his private jets to get home. However as Agent Fox and his team appear, we realise that Colton has double-crossed them, and he declares, "The last thing I was going to let you guys do was ruin my wedding." Once on the plane, thinking he has finally beaten the boys, Agent Fox puts on his headphones and listens to the iconic song from the 1986 movie "Top Gun".
8. With the help of NSA Vice-Chairman Beecher, who has disliked Agent Fox from the start, Harold and Kumar manage to escape from the plane. Into whose home do they parachute?

Answer: George W. Bush

The boys have no idea how to control a parachute, and they crash-land through the skylight and into the office of President George W. Bush! We hear a voice call out, "George, we're gonna be late for that wedding." President Bush advises the boys that it's Cheney, of whom he is scared, and encourages them to follow him to hide out in his guest house. Once in the guest house, Harold and Kumar are shocked to see that President Bush smokes weed, but they don't hesitate to join him in their mutual "hobby".

The boys explain their situation to George, who says, "Listen guys, I am the President. That means I get to pardon whoever I want. You guys are in the clear, don't worry".
9. Harold and Kumar get to Vanessa and Colton's wedding just before the start of the ceremony. What poem does Kumar recite that convinces Vanessa she is about to marry the wrong man?

Answer: The Square Root of Three

Harold and Kumar explain to Vanessa that Colton has double-crossed them, and arranged for the boys to be sent back to Guantanamo Bay. Colton is about to punch Harold, but Harold gets in a knee to the groin first causing him to fall to the ground in pain. Distraught that Kumar is putting Vanessa through "the most embarrassing moment of my life", Kumar decides to do something embarrassing to himself to make her feel better.

He then proceeds to recite his "The Square Root of Three" poem that was mentioned earlier in the movie, when Kumar was reminiscing about when he first met Vanessa.

His tactic works, and Vanessa leaves the wedding with Harold and Kumar.
10. As Vanessa and our intrepid duo leave the wedding, what do we see Colton's valet, Ramon, release?

Answer: Doves

As Harold, Kumar, and Vanessa exit the impressive marquee in which the wedding was due to take place, we see Ramon release a handful of doves from a basket. The three of them then travel to Amsterdam, where they eventually find Maria participating in a photo shoot. Harold explains to Maria, "I didn't want to wait ten days to see you, so I thought I'd come and surprise you." Maria replies, "That is so sweet," and the movie ends with the four friends enjoying the various sights and sounds of Amsterdam.
