The chairs begin moving by themselves next. Carol Anne disappears and the only way her family can communicate with her is through a TV channel with nothing but static. Diane, Carol Anne's mother, saves her. They decide to move, but on their last night in the house, the spirits come back.

10. What is the name of the bar that George Lutz goes into when he meets his friend, Jeff, in "The Amityville Horror" (1979)?

Answer: Witches Brew Bar

You can see "Witches Brew Bar" twice in the movie. Once, when George first pulls up on his motorcycle, and again when he's walking into the bar. He goes in and sits down at the bar. The bartender accidentally drops his beer because he's startled by George's resemblance to the Defeo kid that murdered his parents and four siblings a year before.

This happened in the house that George and his family are now living in. Shortly after, George and Jeff get into an argument about their business going bankrupt, and George punches Jeff in the face. George then helps Jeff up off the floor and apologizes for punching him.

The house seems to possess George Lutz. He hits his wife, Kathy, screams at the kids all the time, and constantly complains that he's cold. Along with Jeff and his girlfriend, Carolyn, George discovers that the evil is in the basement. Kathy goes to the local library the following day to find out about their home and what happened to the Defeos.

She sees a picture of Ronald Defeo, the killer, who looks just like George. Kathy drives home fearful that George is going to hurt her or the children, but he doesn't hurt anyone.

They finally escape from the house and everyone is safe.
