1. In the original 1978 film 'Halloween', what was Judith Myers doing right before her younger brother Michael murdered her?

Michael was six years old when he murdered his sister Judith by stabbing her to death on Halloween night. She was in her room sitting in front of her vanity mirror brushing her hair. Her boyfriend had just left the house. When their parents got home, they found Michael outside with his clown costume on and a bloody knife in his hand. They took off his clown mask and stared at him in what looked like confusion while he just stared straight ahead with a blank look on his face. That's pretty much in my opinion part of what made this film such a creepy classic...the story, as well as the character of Michael, was very mysterious! There's no real explanation as to why Michael became a killer...except that he's a psychopath!

After Judith's boyfriend left, young Michael went into the kitchen and grabbed a butcher knife out of the kitchen drawer. He went upstairs to Judith's room and pulled on his clown mask. As he entered her room, Judith began admonishing him for being there, as she was not clothed. Michael then began stabbing her repeatedly. After that, Michael calmly went downstairs and out into the front yard. He still had his mask on, and was holding the bloody knife. His blank expression was chilling. From the aspect of the film, there was no clear motive behind young Michael's actions that evening. Michael's psychiatrist, Dr. Sam Loomis, believed that Michael could not discern good from evil, right from wrong. That was what made Michael so creepy in this one. We were left to wonder what clicked in his brain to make him him commit that awful crime at such a young age.

A William Shatner "Star Trek" Captain Kirk mask was purchased from an area costume shop. It was spray painted with white paint, eye holes were cut larger and they messed around with the hair. The end result was the mask that many have to come to know as Michael Myers. It wasn't until years later that William Shatner was asked in an interview what he thought about his face being used in the movie. William replied that he wasn't aware of the mask using his facial features, but thought it was very cool and joked around about it.

Big Lou put on the mask and was going to make love to his girlfriend, Misty, when Michael burst in the room. Lou pulled out a gun from his desk drawer and attempted to scare Michael. Michael killed Big Lou and then killed Misty. I am not totally sure, but I believe this was revenge for Michael. The club advertised Deborah Myers as having worked there and being the mother of Michael. Michael also killed the bouncer of the club.

The last time is when Dr. Loomis blows him (and himself) up at the end, Michael starts walking while on fire. He only walks for a little bit, I know, but nevertheless, nobody expects him to get up and try to walk off the explosion.

This was a very graphic scene for the early 1980s, with great makeup effects. Karen and Budd decided to take a dip in the hospital's whirlpool. When the water temperature became uncomfortable, Karen asked Budd to adjust it, but Michael showed up behind Budd in the control room and strangled him with an electrical cord. Michael then came up behind Nurse Karen and put his hand on her shoulder. Karen, thinking it was Budd, began caressing his hand and telling him she had to get back to work. When she discovered that it was definitely not Budd, Michael pushed her head into the scorching hot water repeatedly, simultaneously scalding her face and drowning her.
