I'm giving away a surprise, but it's not much of a surprise anyway. Dr. Daniel (Klaus Kinski) did experiments with human-looking android robots on a research space station until three escaped criminals arrived. It was later revealed that Dr. Daniel was also a robot, who was overtaken by a male and female robot he had been tampering with.

Klaus Kinski did various movies, including "Nosferatu", "Venom", and "Buddy Buddy" with Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau.

An emotionless scientist (John Malkovich) created a human-looking robot (John Malkovich) to go on a deep space mission. A public relations woman (Ann Magnuson) became friends with the robot, and they fell in love. The robot wanted to stay on Earth, so the scientist and the robot switched places, and the scientist went off into space. The woman and the robot lived happily ever after!

John Malkovich has appeared in various movies, including "Places in the Heart", "Of Mice and Men", "Ripley's Game", and "Being John Malkovich".

A bald-headed alien, Ilia (Persis Khambatta) got zapped and removed from the Enterprise by a machine calling itself "V-ger". A robot probe duplicate of Ilia arrived in the starship and told everyone what V-ger was up to. After deciding that living things were not as good as machines, it was about to wipe out all Earth life, until Decker "joined up" with it.

Persis Khambatta (2 Oct 1948 - 18 Aug 1998) was Miss India Universe in 1965 at 17 years old. She acted in movies including "Nighthawks" (1981), "Megaforce" (1982), "Warrior of the Lost World" (1983), and "Phoenix the Warrior" (1988). She made guest appearances on "MacGyver", "Mike Hammer", and "Lois and Clark".

"Westworld" was an amusement park inhabited by robots which people could repeatedly shoot and "kill". Eventually, the robots (androids) fought back, and began killing the customers.

Yul Brynner was most famous for "The King and I", "The Magnificent Seven", and "The Ten Commandments".

After becoming damaged during a bank robbery, a female robot, EVE VIII (Renee Soutendijk), ran around murdering people. Col. Jim McQuade (Gregory Hines) and Dr. Eve Simmons (Renee Soutendijk) were sent to stop the robot.
