Answer: MacIntyre

An American oil company based in Houston sends a junior executive to buy up the Scottish village of Furness for the site a future oil refinery. MacIntyre is sent because of his surname, despite the fact that his grandparents were from Hungary and adapted the name!
2. The purchase of the town of Furness hits a snag on one particular piece of real estate. Which town figure won't part with his or her property?

Answer: Ben Knox won't sell his beach

Mac offers Ben 750,000 pounds and Ben makes a memorable counter offer of 'a pound note for every grain of sand' he can hold in his hand.
3. A foreign fishing boat visits Furness during Mac's stay. Where is this boat from?

Answer: The Soviet Union

Viktor calls in to Furness to attend the Ceilidh, a night of traditional singing and dancing as well as large amounts of whiskey!
