Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. 'Knowing what you know now, what would you do differently'?

Answer: Peggy Sue Got Married

Doesn't seem to fit the movie's title, now does it? This movie came out in 1986 and it starred Kathleen Turner and Jim Carrey!
2. 'Believe everything except your eyes'?

Answer: Snake Eyes

3. 'Any call can be murder, any stop can be suicide, any night can be the last. And you thought your job was hell'?

Answer: Bringing Out the Dead

4. 'It's Awesome! Totally Awesome!'?

Answer: Fast Times at Ridgemont High

This oldie but goodie movie is in my collection of all time fave movies. It's a classic! It stars (of course Nicolas Cage) but also Sean Penn, Judge Reinhold, Phoebe Cates and was written by Cameron Crowe. It came out in 1982 and was the 'in' movie at that time!
5. 'Where crime lords rub elbows with the rich and famous!'?

Answer: The Cotton Club

This tagline could have belonged to any of the choices. This movie was directed by Nicolas Cage's (Coppola) uncle, Francis Ford Coppola. It starred Richard Gere, Fred Gwynne (Herman Munster), Laurence Fishburne, Jennifer Grey. The story follows the people who visited the club, those who ran it, and is peppered with the jazz music that made it so famous.
6. 'The story of a town that gave so much... Even these guys couldn't take anymore.'?

Answer: Trapped in Paradise

Jon Lovitz, Dana Carvey star in this movie about 3 guys who decide to rob a bank and when they start meeting KIND people, they start to wonder about the wrong they did.
7. 'You can't prepare for where the truth will take you.'?

Answer: 8 MM

Makes you wonder...
8. 'Ice Cold, Hot Wired'?

Answer: Gone in 60 Seconds

9. 'Rusty James can't live up to his brother's reputation. His brother can't live it down.'

Answer: Rumble Fish

This movie stars Matt Dillon, (Nic Cage), Mickey Rourke, Dennis Hopper, and Diane Lane. It was released in 1983 and it's a story of a street hoodlum, lamenting the salad days of the gangs when his older brother, The Motorcycle Boy, ran things as President of the Packers. Before disappearing two months earlier, Motorcycle Boy outlawed gang wars, or 'rumbles,' by a treaty.

When Rusty James breaks the treaty in a fight with Biff Wilcox and gets seriously hurt, his brother suddenly appears. Distracted, delusional and enigmatic, his brother seems haunted and disinterested in his past as a 'neighborhood novelty.' Over the next few days, James' dead end life of posturing seems to fall {apart;} he loses his girlfriend, his friends, his own sense of confidence.

The future looms like a dark, unknown wall locking James in. Through Motorcycle Boy's example, he finally learns to break free from others' expectations, and his own inner demons. I definitely RECOMMEND this great movie!
10. What actor stars in "8MM", "Gone in 60 Seconds" and "Peggy Sue Got Married"?

Answer: Nicolas Cage

I LOVE Nicolas Cage!
