'X-Men' is one of my favourite movies. Hugh Jackman is one of the best actors I have ever seen. Two groups of mutants, one good and one evil, battle each other. One group wants to make peace with ordinary humans, and the other wants to turn humans into mutants, so that they will be more sympathetic and understanding. They want other mutants to 'Join the Evolution' and fight.

Answer: Coyote Ugly

A small-town girl named Violet Sanford moves from New Jersey to New York to find fame and fortune. She is a fantastic singer and songwriter. The only problem is that she has stage fright. She soon runs out of money, so she eventually finds a job as a coyote in a bar, 'Coyote Ugly'.

There the women call the shots, and she learns to get self-confidence by dancing on the bar in front of hundreds of people - usually drunk and rowdy males. The music and soundtrack are excellent.

Answer: The Italian Job

'The Italian Job' was a remake of the 1969 Michael Caine movie, most famously known for the Mini Coopers tearing through the subway tunnels. A tight-knit group of thieves pull a 'job' in Venice. Inside the safe they stole was 35 million dollars in bars of gold. One of the thieves betrays his friends and swipes all the gold, killing the resident safe-cracker who swore this would be his last job before he retired. One year later the surviving team members track down the traitor in Los Angeles.

They create a daring plan to steal back the gold and get their revenge, hence 'stealing the day'.

They caused horrific traffic jams, exciting subway chases and everything a good revenge movie should have.

Answer: Chicago

'Chicago' was nominated in 12 categories for the Academy Awards, and won 6 of them. This movie was supposed to be really good, but I found it suffocatingly boring. Murderesses Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart strive to be the most famous, while in a 1920's Chicago prison.

They tell scandalous lies to compete for the attention of hot-shot lawyer Billie Flynn. They believe that there is no such thing as bad publicity and even believe that being infamous is better than having no fame at all.

Answer: Deep Impact

In a future not too far away, a comet speeds for Earth, and the President can only save a certain amount of people. An astronaut team named Messiah is deployed, as a last resort, to blast the comet off course, before Heaven (the comet) and Earth collide.

Answer: Scream

One year after Sidney's mother's death, more killings start to occur, in exactly the same manner. Their only clue is a frightening ghost mask. The killer alerts his victims by ringing them on their phone. Then he sneaks inside the house. Therefore the tagline, 'Don't answer the phone. Don't answer the door. Don't try to escape.' A daring local tabloid reporter, Gale Weathers, is on the case to find out who the psycho killer is.

She tells Sidney that it could possibly be the same man that killed her mom one year earlier.

Answer: Almost Famous

William Miller is a wannabe rock journalist, hired by Rolling Stone magazine to follow the rock band, Stillwater. Along the way he falls in love, finds independence and learns how to live life. He experiences it, enjoys it, and finds that 'it' is not a dangerous contraband, but rock 'n' roll.
Frances McDormand is his controlling mother, who delivers the hilarious line, 'Rock stars have kidnapped my son!'

Answer: Biker Boyz

Manuel Galloway is the leader of a tough African-American motorcycle club. Manuel travels to Fresno to take part in the annual drag-racing event, to live up to the memory of his legendary father. The event is so cut-throat, it is, literally, survival of the fastest.

Empire Records is an independent music store that is in danger of being sold to a large record chain. After Lucas, one the employees, gambles away all the day's earnings in an effort to raise money to buy Empire Records back, everyone bands together to stage a wild party and sell all their stock. They close every night at 12:00, but tonight, the party lasts forever.

Answer: The Chronicles of Riddick

In the sequel to 'Pitch Black', Richard Riddick is now a hunted man. Unfortunately he finds himself between two major opposing forces. A warrior priest is waging the final crusade against humans, 500 years in the future. Although he uses all his power to try and get out of the hostilities, it seems that his destiny is to help the humans win this war. There is also this ghost-like being (Dame Judi Dench) who helps Riddick in his battle.
