"Highlander" is the classic story of the immortal Connor McLeod and it goes from the Highlands of Scotland in 1538, when Connor is a young man and is first killed in battle, all the way up to 1986 New York where he is still alive and playing The Game. Immortals fight for the prize, and the last one standing gets all the powers of all the other immortals. Whoever wins gets to decide the fate of the world.

Jeff Goldblum says this quote in both movies; in "Jurassic Park" (1993), it's when the T-Rex is chasing the Jeep, while Muldoon is driving away from the T-Rex pen, with Ellie and Ian. They are being shot at by the alien ships chasing them, and the door is closing. "ID4" is about aliens coming to Earth to take over, and the world unites to send them away.

This is said while Casey Ryback (Steven Seagal) is talking to the playboy girl after she pops out of the cake, and he's trying to figure out what's going on. He tells her he's just the cook, when asked who he is. "Under Siege" was made in 1990.
"Under Siege" is about a group of terrorists that take over a U.S. Battleship during a party, and kill the senior crew. The cook is a former Navy SEAL, and he takes care of the terrorists in various ways.

Margret White, Carrie's mother says this before Carrie's date comes to pick her up for the senior prom. She knows that Carrie has been the butt of many jokes by her peers in high school. She thinks that this, being asked to the senior prom by a popular boy, is another cruel joke being played on her daughter. "Carrie" (1976) is based on the Stephen King novel by the same name. "Carrie" is about a high school girl who is tormented by her peers.

When she goes to the senior prom, a bucket of pig's blood is dumped on her by one of the class bullies. Carrie is a telekinetic, and ends up destroying the town, after destroying the high school in a rage.

This is a short story by Stephen King called "The General", and it is the final segment of three stories in the movie. The little girl on the bed, the troll on the record player, and the cat playing with the speed switch of the record player is classic. Amanda says play it faster when the troll is on the record player, and the cat, known as General, paws the switch that changes the speed of the record player.
"The General" was made for the movie, and about a cat trying to rescue a little girl from the troll in the wall.
The movie is tied together by the cat's adventures in "Quitter's Inc" and "The Ledge", before it goes into "The General". One of the two other stories in this movie is called "Quitter's Inc"; it's about a smoker trying to quit smoking. The story is also found in Stephen King's "Night Shift". "The Ledge" is the second story, and it's about a tennis pro who is having an affair with a millionaire's wife. The husband and the tennis pro make a bet about walking around the building's ledge. It is also found in "Night Shift."
