Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Voice of Elvis Presley in "Forrest Gump"(1994)

Answer: Kurt Russell

A big fan of Elvis, Kurt Russell actually appeared with "The King" (also an uncredited role) in "It Happened at the World's Fair"(1963) and then played him in John Carpenter's made for TV movie "Elvis"(1979). In "Forrest Gump", Elvis is a guest at Forrest's mother's bed and breakfast establishment.
2. Anna Scott's boyfriend, Jeff King, in "Notting Hill"(1999)

Answer: Alec Baldwin

Baldwin plays actor Jeff King, who makes a surprise visit to see his girlfriend, Anna (Julia Roberts) at her hotel in London. He assumes loveable bookshop owner William Thacker (Hugh Grant) is there to provide room service. Other actors uncredited in the movie are Simon Callow and Matthew Modine.
3. The voice of Anne Uumellmahaye's brain in "The Man with Two Brains"(1983)

Answer: Sissy Spacek

In "The Man with Two Brains", Steve Martin plays Dr Michael Hfuhruhurr, a brain surgeon who falls in love with brain in a jar, played by Spacek, and has the brain transplanted into the body of his dead wife (Kathleen Turner) after she is murdered by Merv Griffin! Spacek was an Academy Award winner for "Coal Miner's Daughter"(1980).
4. Nick Fury - post credits scene - "Iron Man"(2008)

Answer: Samuel L. Jackson

The surprise post-credits appearance of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury was a key pointer to the next set of superhero movies Marvel had in store in the Avengers universe. Samuel L. Jackson was one of the most successful movie stars of his day - appearing in some of the biggest franchises, as well as working with Tarantino and Spike Lee.
5. Rita in "The Boy Friend"(1971)

Answer: Glenda Jackson

Ken Russell's adaptation of Sandy Wilson's 1953 pastiche musical "The Boy Friend" starred Twiggy, Christopher Gable and Tommy Tune. This uncredited appearance was between Jackson's first Academy Award for "Women in Love"(1969) and second for "A Touch of Class"(1973). She went on to become a UK Member of Parliament for over twenty years.
6. Nicholas Angel's ex-girlfriend Janine - a forensic scientist - in "Hot Fuzz"(2007)

Answer: Cate Blanchett

Blanchett is almost unrecognisable, as she is wearing a mask for her short performance in Edgar Wright's UK Police comedy "Hot Fuzz". Simon Pegg plays Nicholas Angel, an over-achieving super cop from the Metropolitan Police, who is transferred to a sleepy village that is hiding a sinister secret. Blanchett had been a fan of Wright and Pegg's "Shaun of the Dead"(2004) and was happy to be in on the joke of a dramatic scene of a romantic breakup played by an Oscar winner whose face couldn't be seen.

Other uncredited cameos in the movie include Peter Jackson and Steve Coogan.
7. King Richard I in "Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves"(1991)

Answer: Sean Connery

Kevin Costner, Morgan Freeman and Alan Rickman star in this retelling of the Robin Hood story for the 1990s. Connery appears as Richard I towards the (happy) end of the movie. Connery had himself played the role of Robin Hood opposite Audrey Hepburn in "Robin and Marian"(1976).
8. Chazz Reinhold, the guru of wedding crashing in "Wedding Crashers"(2005)

Answer: Will Ferrell

"Wedding Crashers" is a comedy about two friends, played by Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson who make a habit of "crashing" weddings with a view to picking up women. Ferrell's movies include "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy"(2004) and "Blades of Glory"(2007).
9. Bachelor #1 on the set of "The Dating Game" in "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind"(2002)

Answer: Brad Pitt

In "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind", Sam Rockwell plays gameshow creator and host Chuck Barris. In his first movie as director, George Clooney included a funny scene played low key in which Pitt as Bachelor #1 and Matt Damon as Bachelor #2 are passed over in favour of a less gorgeous third bachelor on TV's "The Dating Game". Pitt and Damon had starred with Clooney in "Oceans Eleven"(2001).
10. Tom Hanson in "21 Jump Street"(2012)

Answer: Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp became famous playing Tom Hanson in "21 Jump Street" on television from 1987-1990. When the show was made into a movie in 2012 starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill he reprised the role, the character having become an agent for the Drug Enforcement Agency along with Doug Penhall (Peter DeLuise).
