Answer: Never Been Kissed

This quote was taken from the 1999 film "Never Been Kissed", which starred Drew Barrymore, David Arquette and Michael Vartan. Barrymore played the lead role of Josie Geller and said this quote to her best friend, Anita, who worked on the same newspaper. Anita replied "Yeah, but you know what? Sometimes kissing losers can be a really fun diversion." The character of Josie was a bumbling reporter on undercover assignment at a local high school.

It was here she met and fell in love with one of the teachers, Vartan, who believed her to be an underage schoolgirl.

At the end of the film, we see the girl who had never been kissed....getting kissed.

Answer: Bridget Jones's Diary

Taken from the 2001 film, "Bridget Jones's Diary", Mark Darcy said this quote to Bridget Jones not long after they met at a New Years Eve party at her parents' country home. Even though they knew each other as children, their adult relationship took several twists and turns before the end of the film when we saw him presenting her with a new diary. Mark Darcy was played by Oscar winner Colin Firth, in one of his brilliant comedic roles.

Answer: P.S. I Love You

"P.S. I Love You" was a 2007 film based on the novel with the same name written by Cecelia Ahern. Make sure you have a box of tissues to hand when you watch this tearjerker, starring Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler. Gerry, played by Butler, was madly in love with Holly (Swank) but their lives were suddenly shattered when he died from a brain tumor. He sent her messages after his death, on different anniversaries. The notes were filled with encouragement and hope, with a post script which always said "I Love You".

The quote was said at the end of the film, by Holly to Gerry, where she was admitting that it was time for her to move on with her life. It ended with her saying "This is my one and only life, and it's a great and terrible and short and endless thing, and none of us come out of it alive. I don't have a plan... except, it's time my mom laughed again. She has never seen the world... she has never seen Ireland. So, I'm taking her back where we started... Maybe now she'll understand. I don't know how you did it, but you brought me back from the dead. I'll write to you again soon. P.S... Guess what?"

Answer: Chocolat

Watching the 2000 film, "Chocolat", was pure indulgence. Filmed in Dordogne, France and Wiltshire, England, the story told of a widow who opened up a Chocolaterie in a small French village. The locals were at first opposed to the idea, but with the help of a visiting band of gypsy travellers, the villagers soon changed their minds and opened up their hearts.

One of the villagers, Yvette Marceau, said this quote in reply to Madame Audel, who said "Seashells. Chocolate seashells, so small, so plain, so 'innocent'. I thought, oh, just one little taste, it can't do any harm. But it turned out they were filled with rich, sinful...".

A galaxy of stars could be seen dipping their fingers into the chocolate and these included Juliette Binoche, Johnny Depp, Dame Judi Dench, Alfred Molina and Leslie Caron.

Answer: Ever After: A Cinderella Story

"Ever After: A Cinderella Story" was a 1998 film starring Drew Barrymore, Dougray Scott and Anjelica Huston as the wicked stepmother. It was loosely based on "Cinderella" the fairy tale. Drew Barrymore played the role of Danielle de Barbarac (Cinderella) with Dougray Scott as Prince Henry (Prince Charming) and this quote was used when he proposed to her.

The fairy godmother was of course played by Leonardo da Vinci.

Answer: Love Actually

This quote was part of the opening lines narrated by Hugh Grant, who played the Prime Minister in the 2003 Brit Flick, "Love Actually". The story told of intertwining love stories and relationships between partners, friends, families and total strangers. The film began and ended at Heathrow airport, with real footage shown of people meeting and greeting each other.

"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinions starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

Answer: Pride and Prejudice

"Pride and Prejudice" (2005) starred Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Bennett and Matthew Macfadyen as Mr Darcy. Many people remember this story for the love between its two central characters, but who could forget this quote and the dialogue, towards the end of the film, between Elizabeth and Lady Catherine de Bourgh played by the wonderful Dame Judi Dench. "Now tell me once and for all: Are you engaged to him?" asked Lady de Bourgh. "I am not" replied Elizabeth. Go Lizzie, go!

Answer: Muriel's Wedding

The 1994 film "Muriel's Wedding" starred an almost unknown Toni Collette in the main character role of Muriel. Since then, Toni has gone on to star in films such as "The Sixth Sense" (1999), "About a Boy" (2002) and "Little Miss Sunshine" (2006). Muriel lived an unhappy life with her family in Porpoise Spit, Australia and dreamed one day of getting married.

She said "Goodbye, Porpoise Spit!" to her best friend, Rhonda, played by Rachel Griffiths, when they both left their home town for Sydney.

The 2008 film "Mamma Mia" was a great success, especially for those who enjoyed the music of Abba. It starred a multitude of actors, including Meryl Streep, Stellan Skarsgård, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth and Julie Walters. Bride to be Sophie, played by Amanda Seyfried, discovered, from her mothers' diary, that she had a possible three fathers. "We danced on the beach, kissed on the beach and dot, dot, dot" was one of the entries in the diary. Sophie invited all three potential fathers to the island wedding, much to the surprise of her mother (Meryl Streep).

Answer: Little Women

This quote was taken from the 1997 film "Little Women". It was a coming of age story which told of the March sisters, Jo, Meg, Amy and Beth, who lived with their mother, Marmee. The film starred Winona Ryder, Susan Sarandon, Claire Danes, Kirsten Dunst and Gabriel Byrne. Jo had aspirations to become a writer and it was in New York City where she met and fell in love with a German professor.

It was he who arranged for her life story to be made into a book and delivered to her home address. The family servant, Hannah took delivery of the book and gave it to Jo who shouted "My book! Someone's publishing my book! Hannah! Hannah, someone's publishing my book!".
