Elliott is a dragon that goes wherever he is needed. In this movie, a boy named Pete is being abused by the family that adopted him. Elliott can make himself disappear so that no one will know he's there.

The two Gogan sons are Grover (Gary Morgan) and Willie (Jeff Conaway). They are much like their parents, lazy and dirty. They are always wearing clothes that have dust fly off of them when anyone touches them. They want to find Pete so that they don't have to do any work on the farm.

Nora (Helen Reddy) and her father, Lampie (Mickey Rooney) are the people who have Pete stay with him at the end of the movie. Lampie is the only person in Passamaquoddy who has actually seen Elliott. before Pete becomes a part of the community.

When Lampie comes into the bar to talk to the doctor, he tells him that he saw a dragon. Then the doctor finds out that he could make a lot of money from the parts of a dragon, so he wants to capture it.

One of the most beloved songs in the movie, "Candle on the Water" is a love song that has Nora singing to Paul, someone she almost married, but who got lost at sea. All the other choices are songs that are in this movie.

The Gogans come to town and ask if anyone has seen a little boy come through. It isn't until they mention that he's always talking to his dragon that people get frightened. After that they stay in town looking for the boy who has run away from them.

Answer: Pete's dragon runs through the school, leaving holes in the wall.

When Pete goes to school, Elliot gets bored and he goes to visit Pete. First he rings the bell so the teacher will think school is done early, then he plays tricks on the teacher, which get Pete in trouble. Finally he runs into the classroom, but Pete sends him back to the cave, and he goes out the other side, making two holes in the wall.

Pete tells Elliott that Nora and Lampie have been so nice to him that they should do something nice in return. Pete shows Elliott a picture of Paul, the man Nora was about to marry before getting lost in a storm. During the storm at the end of the movie, Paul is trying to get back to Passamaquoddy to be with Nora.

He says he lost his memory and one day his bed fell over, he bumped his head, and everything came back. Pete says that was because of Elliott.

Answer: He goes to help another kid in trouble.

Elliott only stays with Pete while he still needs him. Once Pete finds a family to stay with, one that is good and does not abuse him, Elliott is no longer needed in Pete's life. He goes off to help another kid in danger.
