Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Reservoir Dogs" and "From Dusk Til Dawn" share a common phrase. Which is it?

Answer: "Okay ramblers, let's get rambling."

In "Reservoir Dogs", this was said when Joe Cabot (Lawrence Tierney) is leading the meeting with the Reservoir Dogs. In "From Dusk Til Dawn", Seth Gecko (George Clooney) says it when he is kidnapping the Fuller family.
2. Actor Michael Bowen played Buck in "Kill Bill: Vol. 1". What role did he have in "Jackie Brown"?

Answer: Detective Mark Dargas

He certainly changed sides of the law! He was also "Mask #2", a hitman in "Godfather III" who was sent to kill Don Vincent 'Vinnie' Mancini-Corleone. I prefer him as a bad guy.
3. Sid Haig played the judge presiding over Jackie's bond hearing in "Jackie Brown". He also had the roll of Jay in "Kill Bill: Vol. 2". Who was Jay?

Answer: The bartender at the club where Budd worked

Tarantino also wanted Sid Haig to play the roll of Marsellus Wallace in "Pulp Fiction". Haig turned it down at the last minute, stating the movie sounded "too TV". "Jackie Brown" is the 6th movie Sid Haig has done with Pam Greer.
4. In "Pulp Fiction", there is a camera shot that shows a close-up of Mia putting the needle on a record to play it. What other Tarantino movie shows the same closeup, with a different actress?

Answer: Jackie Brown

Quentin never has his actors use CDs in his movies. They are always records or tapes.
5. The car that is driven by Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis) in "Pulp Fiction" is the same car that is driven by Beaumont Livingston (Chris Tucker) in "Jackie Brown".

Answer: False

It's Jackie (Pam Greer) that drives the car, a white Honda, in "Jackie Brown". You can also see the car parked in the lot of the bar Budd works at in "Kill Bill: Vol. 2". The exact same car was used in all three movies.
6. Sonny Chiba starred as Hattori Hanzo in "Kill Bill: Vol. 1". In which of these other Tarantino movie do we see Sonny Chiba?

Answer: True Romance

In "True Romance", Clarence (Christian Slater) and Alabama (Patricia Arquette) go to see a triple feature. All three movies star Sonny Chiba.
7. The characters of Clarence Worley (Christian Slater) from "True Romance" and Buck (Michael Bowen) from "Kill Bill: Vol. 1" have something in common. What is it?

Answer: They wore the same sunglasses

We never actually see Buck wearing the sunglasses, but they were clipped onto his shirt when the Bride took them off of his dead body.
8. "Are we absolutely clear on rule number one?" is a quote said by which two characters in Tarantino movies?

Answer: Buck from "Kill Bill: Vol. 1" and Seth Gecko from "From Dusk Til Dawn"

Buck said it when explaining the "rules" to the man who was paying him for time with the Bride. Seth said it to the bank teller they had taken hostage.
9. In "Reservoir Dogs", Mr. Pink (Steve Buscemi) complains about his code name. Which other Tarantino movie has a character that dislikes his/her code name?

Answer: Kill Bill: Vol. 1

In Kill Bill: Vol. 1, Vivica A. Fox's character, Vernita Green, complains about the bride's codename of "Black Mamba" and states that she herself should have been named "Black Mamba".
10. "Kill Bill: Vol. 1" and "Kill Bill: Vol 2" had two actors that appeared in both movies, but in different roles. Which two actors are they?

Answer: Gordon Lui and Michael Parks

Michael Parks played Sheriff Earl McGraw in Vol. 1, and Esteban Vihaio in Vol. 2. Gordon Liu played Johnny Mo in Vol. 1, and Pai Mei in Vol. 2.
