Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Where did Dewey tell Freddy to keep an extra pair of drumsticks in "School of Rock"?

Answer: The back of his shirt.

Freddy went to go spin his drumsticks like a pro player, and he ended up dropping them. When he went to reach for them, Dewey stopped him, and told him to pull out his extra pair. Freddy grabbed them from his shirt and started drumming again, just like a professional would.
2. What CD was Tomika assigned to listen to for her homework in "School of Rock", after she showed Dewey that she could sing?

Answer: Pink Floyd

Tomika was too scared to sing in front of the class when he was assigning the part for singers, but she knew that she wanted to be one. She sang "Chain of Fools" for Dewey after school, and she got the part of a singer. He assigned her Pink Floyd, "Dark Side of the Moon".
3. In "School of Rock", Ms. Mullins lectured a teacher about two sandwiches touching on a plate, which was dangerous for allergy reasons.

Answer: True

Ms. Mullins was an uptight, stern principal. She didn't let a teacher get away with letting two sandwiches touch, PBJ and turkey, because it could have harmed other kids with allergic reactions.
4. Patty was Dewey's girlfriend in "School of Rock".

Answer: False

Patty, who was played by Sarah Silverman, was actually Ned's girlfriend. In fact, Dewey and Patty got into so many fights about the rent that it was getting hard for Ned to choose between them. Patty was bossy and controlling, so it was a big surprise when push-over Ned stood up for himself.
5. Which of these was not a nickname of one of the school kids in "School of Rock"?

Answer: Whiner

Fancy Pants, of course, was the fabulous Billy, the band stylist. Turkey Sub was the band's singer, Tomika, who was too shy to sing at first, and finally, Spazzy McGee was none other then the trouble maker drum player, Freddy Jones. Nowhere in the movie was anyone named Whiner.
6. What was the name of the fun bass player in "School of Rock"?

Answer: Katie

Katie originally played the cello, but Dewey taught her that if you tip the cello to the side, "Cellllo, it's a bass." Summer was the band manager, and Eleni and Michelle were groupies. None of those three played the bass.
7. What subject did Dewey sing a song about in "School of Rock"?

Answer: Math

Dewey asked Summer what 3-4 was, and she said negative one. Then Dewey asked Marco what six times a billion is, and Marco replied with, "Six billion." Finally he asked Marta what 54-45 was, and she answered with nine.
8. What was the name of the Horace Green gym teacher in "School of Rock"?

Answer: Bob

When Ms. Mullins first introduced Dewey to the fellow teachers, she introduced the gym teacher as Bob. We saw Dewey sitting next to Bob and other teachers many times through the movie.
9. Which student in "School of Rock" said, "You're a joke. You're the worst teacher I ever had!"?

Answer: Summer

Dewey was telling the kids to get ticked off at him, and he was having them give him insults. Summer, the goody-two-shoes, replied, "You're a joke. You're the worst teacher I ever had." Dewey was very impressed, and Summer was glad that she did a good job. Dewey even responded with, "Summer, that is great! I like the delivery because I felt your anger!"
10. What did Dewey call the Horace Green teacher that he was subbing for in "School of Rock"?

Answer: Mrs. DumBum

When Summer was trying to explain to Dewey what the teacher would have them do right now in class, he responded to them by saying, "OK, Ms DumBum ain't your teacher today, I am, and I have a headache and the runs. So I say, time for recess!" The kids were shocked, but they did like the idea of recess.
