As Bandit and Frog try to elude Sheriff Justice down a dirt road, Frog is not paying attention, jumps an embankment and lands the car right in the middle of a high school football game. Sheriff Justice rolls up and tells Junior to check and see where they went.

Sheriff Justice asks "Do you see anythin'?" Junior responds "A football game, Daddy. Can we watch?" Sheriff Justice says "You stay and watch the game. I'm goin' back!" As he backs up in a hurry, Junior falls out what is left of the windshield area. If you recall from earlier in the movie, the top of the car is ripped off when Sheriff Justice accidentally drives under a semi truck.

Answer: Snowman

As Bandit and Frog are heading back down the highway again, Bandit asks Snowman how they are doing on the time. Cletis exclaims that they are losing time and as he is saying this he sees a highway patrol car going in the opposite direction. He says "Whoa! I just saw another Kojak with a Kodak.

This place is crawlin' with bears. Where the heck are you?" Bandit replies "I'm still trying to get rid of the Texas county mounty. I don't know what the heck he wants." Cletis asks hypothetically "How would you like to be the one to handcuff a legend?" Bandit states that they are going to put some moves on him and that they will meet him at "Old Miss".

Answer: Bandit

Bandit stops and gets gas in Mississippi and then heads towards Alabama. As he gets into Alabama, he sees a road block and tears off down a side country road. This road runs parallel to a stream where there is an apparent road on the other side. Bandit turns the car in the direction of the stream and asks "Ready to do some pond hoppin', Frog?" Frog replies "Swell." Bandit tears down the embankment and shoves through the stream. An Alabama cop tries to pursue him, but ends up flooding out in the middle of the stream.

At the end of this scene, the cop car is hooked to the tow truck as Sheriff Justice rolls by. He pulls over and asks the cop if the Bandit has been by. While he's talking to the tow truck driver, a car carrier is coming down the road with an Oriental man behind the wheel.

He spots the sheriff's door open on his cruiser and says, "Bonzai!" as he takes the door right off the car - probably one of my favorite scenes in the whole film.

Answer: Good Witch of the North

After escaping the Alabama cops, an old woman by the name of Good Witch of the North calls "Bandit Honey, this is the Good Witch of the North speaking. You'd better not come this way. There's been a little fender bender here on 64." She has flipped her car after colliding with a flatbed. Bandit asks if the Snowman copied that and Snowman says he did. Snowman says he is going to get some groceries down his neck and some go-go juice." Bandit and Frog decide to get out at a nearby park to stretch their legs a bit.

Answer: Sugar Bear

When Cletis pulls into the truck stop called "Lamar's Soul Food", he goes in and gives Lamar his order which he claims is "the same thing; just cook the onions this time." As he sits at the bar and places a collect call to his wife, he strikes up a conversation with fellow truck driver, Sugar Bear. Sugar Bear comments on Fred by saying "Looks like ol' Fred there is getting' fat." Cletis says "Yeah, and it sure ain't from eating food at this joint!" One of the rough looking bikers states that Fred bit him. Cletis says he doesn't think Fred bit him because Fred definitely don't like grease.

A fight ensues and Cletis is literally thrown out of Lamar's. Cletis gets even and flattens all of the biker gang's Harleys. Way to go. Stunned, Lamar uses John Denver's old line of "Far out!"

Answer: Mr. B

This is an opening for another one of my favorite scenes. As Bandit is being chased along I-85 by Car 4, he sees a convoy of trucks up ahead. He calls on the CB and says "I see a portable gas station up ahead. Do you copy?" The trucker answers him by saying "This is Mr. B and I'm gearjammin' this rolling refinery. Do you have another Smokey on the rubber?" Bandit puts in his request to slide into the convoy. Mr. B says "Come on in, Bandit, we'll slip you into the rockin' chair." Anyone with any Citizen Band radio jargon would know the lingo and could translate. Frog is concerned that the cops will find the truck as they pass by in the passing lane. What she doesn't know is there is an Allied Moving Van Lines truck in the rear and it slides over and forces the cop onto the shoulder of the road.

This scene is excellently done.

Answer: Bandit

After escaping police through Alabama, Snowman is rolling along minding his own business, when he hears a whining siren in the distance. He looks in his mirror and sees there is trouble. He calls on the radio to Bandit saying "Hey Bandit. Listen to this." Bandit hears the siren and starts to think of a plan to get Snowman out of trouble. Snowman says "You know who that is? That's Mr. Eval Knevel.

He musta snuck in my back door when I wasn't lookin'. You better flip flop back here and give me a hand or we'll both be in a heap of trouble. Please Roger that transmission." Bandit says "Hold onto Fred, son, here comes the Cavalry." He does a U-turn through the median and heads back towards Snowman's position.

As a cop is writing Snowman his speeding ticket, Bandit shows up and Frog whistles.

The cop turns in time to be told "He is number one."

Answer: Snowman

Bandit and Snowman are now one right behind the other. There are only four miles to go and the cops are all over the place. Bandit calls and says that they gave it a good shot, but they ain't going to make it. They are giving it up. Snowman is appalled and says "Whoa! Negatory, Negatory! What are you? Crazy or somethin'? We came this far, ain't we?" Bandit explains that it is him the cops are after and that they probably don't know Snowman even exists. Snowman is determined and says "Move over there, good buddy, because the Snowman is comin' through!" With that he pets Fred and says "Hold onto your tail, Fred." They were going to make it after all with Snowman as a battering ram.

Answer: Little Enos

Since Big Enos doesn't think Bandit will make it on time, Little Enos sees the duo coming around the booths and says, You're about to have your evenin' ruined for you." Big Enos doesn't reply because he is in shock. Bandit makes it with ten minutes to spare! Bandit knows the cops are on hot on his trail so he asks for the money and a way to get out of there alive. Big Enos hands him the keys to his Cadillac. Little Enos makes a bet.

The new bet is double or nothing if they go from Atlanta to Boston to pick up some clam chowder for him and his Daddy in 18 hours. Bandit takes the bet and drives off.

Answer: Sheriff Justice

The poor Sheriff is now stuck on a hill because someone cut him off and he lost control. As he makes Junior get out and arrest the guy, Bandit parks on top of the hill. He calls down to the Sheriff and compliments him on a pursuit well done and says the Sheriff must be part coon dog.

The sheriff returns the compliment by saying "Well, thank you Mr. Bandit, and may I say you're the dog gonedest pursuee I've ever pursued. Now, that the mutual hogwash is over with, where are you, you son of a gun?" Bandit at first says he is down over the hill and gives the description of Big and Little Enos.

He decides that the Sheriff is too good a man and tells him to look over his shoulder. The Sheriff sees him, and begins his relentless pursuit, with his cruiser losing pieces and parts including a wheel that finally falls off.
