Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens Quiz

At the beginning of the film, Poe Dameron is sent by Resistance Leader General Leia to Jakku to retrieve something that may help find the missing Luke Skywalker. Lor San Tekka still sees the General as Princess Leia Organa.

One evening on Jakku, Rey hears BB-8 fight off capture from a local. She rescues BB-8 and allows him to stay with her for a day. She is trying to figure out who he is and what he is doing there on Jakku, to no immediate avail.

Answer: Kylo Ren

A BB unit Droid is located on Jakku, housing the information to find Luke Skywalker. The First Order, bent on retrieving it, fails as the droid takes off on a YT freighter, later identified as The Millennium Falcon. The droid did not steal the freighter, but he was accompanying the person who did.

Answer: Rey

While landing on Takodana, Rey is so surprised and in awe of how beautiful the planet is. Han Solo, having found the Millennium Falcon, takes control of his ship with Chewbacca, and decides to help out Finn, Rey, and BB-8 by taking them to Maz Kanata's watering hole.

Answer: Kylo Ren

Kylo Ren, having heard of Rey before, is desperate to find her, even though we are unsure why. She shoots at him with her blaster but he is able to hold her in a force grip. He comes to realize that she has seen the map that leads to Luke Skywalker. He then takes her as a captive instead of going after BB-8, the original target.

When being interrogated by Kylo Ren, Rey is asked questions about BB-8 and how she convinced the droid to show the map to her. He then tries to retrieve it from her mind, but she is able to resist and is able to read his mind. It is at this point that Kylo leaves, shocked at Rey's abilities.

After Kylo's interrogation fails and he is unable to retrieve the map, he tells Supreme Leader Snoke that Rey resisted him. She was able to read his mind and see his fears. It is then that Snoke wants to see her face to face.

Kylo Ren is able to chase down Finn and Rey after he kills Han Solo. He is trying to prevent them from leaving the base. After witnessing him kill Han Solo, Rey yells this to him, seeing as only someone truly evil could kill their own father.

Answer: Kylo Ren

After chasing down Finn and Rey outside, Kylo draws his lightsaber. Finn then draws the lightsaber given to him earlier in the movie. The lightsaber was Luke's, and his father's before his. Having trained with Luke years ago, Kylo Ren knew which lightsaber it was. It is unclear as to why Kylo feels that Luke's lightsaber belongs to him.

Answer: Rey

After disarming and injuring Finn, Kylo tries to use The Force to have the lightsaber come to him. Instead, it flies right past him and goes to Rey. Midway through the lightsaber battle between one another, Kylo offers his tutelage to Rey, saying that he can show her the ways of The Force.

His uttering of that causes her to whisper that to herself. She focuses on using The Force, and after letting It set in, she turns and disarms Kylo, breaks his lightsaber and strikes his face with her lightsaber.
