Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker Quiz

Answer: Emperor Palpatine

Sheev Palpatine served as Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic and Emperor of the Galactic Empire. Emperor Palpatine was believed to be dead as Darth Vader threw Palpatine down a shaft on the Death Star.

Kylo Ren met a resurrected Emperor Palpatine on Exegol. Palpatine revealed himself to the power behind Snoke. Palpatine also showed Kylo Ren an armada of Sith Star Destroyers called the Final Order. Palpatine then ordered Kylo Ren to kill Rey.

Finn, Poe Dameron and Chewbacca travelled in the Millennium Falcon to meet with an informant. This informant had leaked information from a First Order spy. The group learned that Emperor Palpatine was still alive and preparing the Final Order on Exegol. The group took this information back to the Resistance base on Ajan-Kloss.

Answer: Lando Calrissian

The Resistance members arrived at the planet Pasaana during a festival. The first order arrived at the festival. The crew was rescued by Lando Calrissian. Lando Calrissian was a general in the Rebel Alliance who led the attack on the second Death Star. Lando worked closely with Han Solo, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa in the Rebel Alliance.

Lando Calrissian said that he and Luke Skywalker traveled to Pasaana to track down a man named Ochi. Ochi had a Sith Dagger which contained clues regarding the location of the second Wayfinder. Lando gave the crew directions to Ochi's ship.

Answer: Kijimi

The Resistance members found a Sith Dagger on Ochi's ship. The information on the dagger was in a Sith language. C3PO had the information stored in his memory but was unable to translate the Sith language.

The crew needed a droidsmith to help C3PO translate in the information. Poe Dameron mentioned that he once worked with a black market droidsmith named Babu Frik on the planet Kijimi. Kijimi was a cold planed which became a haven for smugglers and spice runners.

The crew travelled to Kijimi. They met an old acquaintance of Poe's named Zorii Bliss. Zorri eventually escorted the crew to Babu Fink. Babu Fink was able to extract the information from C3PO.

Answer: General Hux

Finn, Poe and Chewie were about to be executed on a First Order ship. General Hux saved them and announced himself to be the spy in the First Order. Hux let the trio get to their ship and escape. Hux revealed that he didn't care which side won the conflict as long as Kylo Ren lost. Finn shot Hux in the knee upon the request of the First Order General.

General Hux told General Pryde the story of the trio's escape. General Pryde didn't accept Hux's story. General Pryde believed that General Hux was the spy. General Pryde then shot and killed Hux.

Answer: Emperor Palpatine

Kylo Ren and Rey confronted each other on a First Order ship. Kylo Ren revealed that he and Rey shared a Force "dyad" which connected their minds. Kylo Ren asked Rey to join him.

Kylo Ren also revealed to Rey that her father was the cloned son of Emperor Palpatine. Rey was the granddaughter of Emperor Palpatine. Emperor Palpatine foresaw Rey's power. Palpatine ordered Ochi to find the young Rey. Young Rey's parents hid her on Jakku. When Ochi found this out, he killed Rey's parents with his Sith Dagger.

Answer: Leia Organa

From her base, Leia Organa used the Force to realize the lightsaber duel between Kylo Ren and Rey. Leia Organa wanted to reach out to her son. Thus, Leia Organa used the Force from her base to distract Kylo Ren during his lightsaber duel with Rey. Rey then fatally stabbed Kylo Ren with her lightsaber.

Since Leia Organa and Kylo Ren were connected by the Force at the time, Leia was fatally wounded by the attack as well. Rey was able to Force heal Kylo Ren but couldn't save Leia. Leia Organa died at her base.

Answer: Han Solo

After his lightsaber duel with Rey, he was conflicted and felt remorse over his mother's death. Kylo Ren had a vision of his father, Han Solo. Han Solo convinced Kylo Ren to renounce the dark side and follow the light. Kylo Ren threw his lightsaber into the water and reclaimed his former identity as Ben Solo.

Answer: Ben Solo

After Rey defeated Emperor Palpatine, her life force was leaving. She nearly died. Ben Solo recovered after suffering a serious attack from Palpatine. Ben went to Ray's dying body and transferred his life Force to Rey. Rey was revived. Ben sacrificed his life in the process to redeem himself. The duo shared a kiss before Ben died.

Answer: Skywalker

In the final scene of the movie, Rey traveled to Tatooine. On Tatooine, Rey visited the abandoned Lars homestead where Luke Skywalker was raised. While there, she buried Luke and Leia's lightsabers in the sand.

A local woman approached Rey outside the abandoned Lars homestead. The woman asked Rey her name. Rey revealed herself as "Rey Skywalker" to the woman. Rey then saw the ghosts of Luke and Leia in the distance.
