During the days of the Galactic Empire ('Episodes IV-VI') Darth Vader(or Anakin) is the apprentice.

Anakin was a really good pilot when he was younger, as was explained by Obi-wan. Luke proved to be as well, in 'Episodes IV-VI'. For those that answered Jedi Masters, Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader, and never became a Jedi Master.

It's amazing that Luke married Mara, because Mara used to be the Emperor's Hand, or Palpatine's personal assassin. One of her assignments, in particular, was to execute Luke. Her failure to do so ended with the Emperor's death.

Mon Mothma was poisoned when a certain politician splashed his glass of poison (which he was trying to pass off as a drink), on Mothma. The 'drink' entered her skin, and she began to die. The Mon Calamri was able to heal her by extracting the virus from her body using the Force.

C'baoth was a clone who was made by Palpatine. He was put on a planet called Wayland, where he guarded Mt. Tantiss. He slowly went insane. Then Luke found him, and in turn, so did Grand Admiral Thrawn. Jorus (notice the single 'u') C'baoth was a Jedi who fought alongside Yoda before his capture.

A Holocron is used to record Jedi related information for later generations. Luke was able to obtain the holocron made by an ancient Jedi named Vodo Siosk-Baas.

Exar Kun goaded a fellow trainee, one of a feline-like race, and the alien scarred his face in a duel. Exar Kun was the spirit trapped in the Yavin IV temple where Luke's praxeum was.

Luke, Vader, Palpatine, Obi-wan and Yoda are the five. Luke uses the Force to help him pilot his X-Wing, wield his lightsaber, and influence the weak minded. Vader uses the Force for the same as Luke, but Vader obviously has more sinister reasons behind his actions. Palpatine is seen mainly shooting electricity from his fingertips. Obi-wan used the Force to help him fight Vader, as well as guide Luke from beyond the grave. Last but not least, Yoda used the Force to train Luke, and more obviously, to lift Luke's X-Wing from the murky waters of Dagobah.
