Answer: Dawn of the Dead

'Dawn of the Dead'(1978) is the second 'Dead' film by Romero. This one takes place in Monroeville Mall. The remaining survivors of the zombie invasion decide to hide out and lock themselves up in there. A re-make of this film was released in 2004. The tagline for this film adds a sense of gloom and evil. Since there are way more zombies than living humans left on earth, it gives the film an apocalyptic doomsday feel as well.

Answer: Oh yes, there will be blood.

Jigsaw is at it again in this first sequel to the original film. Tobin Bell reprises his role as John Kramer, also known as Jigsaw. Donnie Wahlberg and Shawnee Smith also star. This 2005 horror film has newer traps and more grisly deaths, hence the reason for the film's tagline.

This would also give the viewer a sense that there are far worse things to come for the victims in this sequel. The film also explains some of Jigsaw's back story, as to help explain why he feels justified in doing all those bad things to his victims.

Answer: The Crazies

'The Crazies'(2010) is a re-make of the 1973 horror film by George A. Romero, who is best known for his 'Dead' films. Timothy Olyphant and Radha Mitchell star. Seems the townspeople are not their usual selves after a poison toxin gets into their water supply.

They start losing their minds and becoming very violent towards each other, which would be the reason for not only the film's title, but the tagline as well. The 1973 original of the same name is far less graphic with the violence and gore than its re-make.

Answer: The Craft

'The Craft' is a teen horror flick. Released in 1996, it stars Fairuza Balk, Neve Campbell, Rachel True, and Robin Tunney. They are high school teens who are best friends and decide to pursue the usage of witchcraft. The four girls being viewed as somewhat outcasts in school, decide that this is the perfect way to gain a sense of power and use it greatly to their advantage.

The tagline 'Welcome to the witching hour' makes sense for this reason, as the girls continue with this witchery several times to get what they want and to hurt others. Of course, this kind of power comes with deadly consequences, and winds up testing and changing their friendship.

Answer: Alien

This 1979 horror/sci-fi gem spawned three sequels and two prequels. The tagline most definitely speaks for itself. An alien terrorizes and kills a space crew aboard their spaceship. With no one to get help from but each other, they must try to do what they can to survive. Sigourney Weaver reprises her role as Ripley in all of them. Tom Skerrit and John Hurt also star in this classic creeper.

Its first sequel, 'Aliens', was released in 1986, followed by 'Alien 3' in 1992, and 'Alien Resurrection' in 1997.

The prequels decided to mix the franchise with that of the 'Predator' films, and released 'Alien vs. Predator' in 2004, and 'Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem' in 2007.

Answer: The Nail Gun Massacre

A killer donning a motorcycle helmet is killing the town locals with a nail gun in this 1985 slasher flick. Not too long after a woman is raped by several of the town's construction workers, the grisly murders begin. This highly amusing tagline shows that the killer decided to use a weapon that is definitely more original, but just as deadly, than the average chainsaw, which has been used before in other films.

It also shows that the viewer should not take this B Movie seriously.

Answer: The Fly

'The Fly' is a 1986 re-make of the 1958 classic horror film that bears the same name. This one is written and directed by David Cronenberg, and stars Jeff Goldblum as scientist Seth Brundle, and Geena Davis as Veronica Quaife. An experiment goes very wrong, to say the least, and Seth winds up slowly turning into a horrible half-man, half-fly like creature.

This film's tagline is taken from a line in the film, where Quaife says this to someone as a warning. The 1989 sequel stars Eric Stoltz, as the son of Brundle and Quaife.

Answer: Night of the Creeps

In this 1986 B Movie, it all starts back in 1959 when a canister falls to earth from outer space. A young man finds it, and a leech jumps from the canister and enters his mouth. The movie then jumps to present time, in which the terror begins. The tagline has to do with the scenes in the film where some of the teens who have been infected are going to pick up their dates for the school dance.

Some have compared this movie to films such as 'Sliver'(2006), and 'Shivers'(1975).

Answer: Dead Silence

'Dead Silence' is a 2007 horror film about a man named Jamie Ashen who receives a puppet named Billy in the mail. Unforeseen circumstances and grisly deaths take place shortly after. Jamie sets out to find out the mystery behind what is going on along with Detective Jim Lipton, played by Donnie Wahlberg.

The victims are all found with their tongues ripped out, which would give meaning to the film's tagline. This movie has some gore, suspense, and a bit of a surprise ending.

Answer: Some secrets will haunt you forever.

This is the 1998 sequel to the original film, 'I Know What You Did Last Summer', which came out in 1997. In the original, four friends hit a man while driving on a lonely road, and thinking he is dead, try to dispose of his body. Anyone who has seen the movie knows that the victim does not die, and comes back for revenge to get them.

In this sequel, the surviving members and their friends are once again stalked and some murdered. This gives meaning to the film's tagline, "Some secrets will haunt you forever." Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddy Prinze Jr. are back as the two survivors from the first film.

This sequel also stars Brandy Norwood, Mekhi Phifer, Jeffrey Combs, and Jack Black. This time, there's a twist that is revealed towards the end of the movie.

Answer: Ginger Snaps

'Ginger Snaps'(2000) is about two close sisters named Ginger and Brigitte Fitzgerald, who are kind of the outcasts in their high school. One night when Ginger gets attacked by a huge beast, she and Brigitte start noticing some major changes taking place. Ginger has obviously been plagued with a curse that causes her to slowly change into a werewolf, giving meaning to the film's tagline. Mimi Rogers stars as their mother, who along with their father, is very oblivious to what's going on.

This entertaining horror film spawned two sequels titled 'Ginger Snaps: Unleashed' and 'Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning', both released in 2004.

Answer: Maniac

'Maniac', which came out in 1980, is a disturbing slasher film about a man named Frank Zito. He lives in New York City by himself, and enjoys murdering and scalping women. He will stalk them at night, which is the reason for the tagline saying, 'I warned you not to go out tonight.' After scalping them, he takes their scalps and their clothes and dresses up mannequins that he keeps in his apartment. Joe Spinell, who stars as this disturbed serial killer, also co-wrote this film.

Answer: You've made it through Halloween, now try and survive Christmas.

This controversial film is about a young boy named Billy who goes with his parents and younger brother to see his grandpa in the mental hospital. When they are on their way home, a man in a Santa suit who just got finished robbing a convenience store, is pulled over to the side of the road. Billy and his family stop to see if the man needs help, resulting in both of Billy's parents getting murdered by the Santa clad killer, while Billy watches.

He and his brother wind up in an orphanage, where Billy starts showing disturbing signs that he is still haunted by the death of his parents.

By the time Billy turns 18 years, he winds up becoming a serial killer himself, also donning a Santa suit. This film's tagline explains that the Christmas season can be just as deadly as Halloween. Considering how many horror films have taken place on Halloween, 'Silent Night, Deadly Night' was the first film of its kind, which made it all the more controversial.

Answer: Every babysitter's nightmare becomes real....

Carol Kane plays the role of Jill Johnson. While babysitting, she starts receiving disturbing phone calls from a very disturbed man. This is what gives this film's tagline even more terrifying meaning, and pretty much scares many of the babysitters who have seen this film.

It comes across as feeling very real, due to the fact that something like this could really happen. This film spawned a 1993 made for t.v. sequel, and a 2006 re-make.

Answer: May

This quirky 2002 horror film stars Angela Bettis as May. She is a lonely young woman who is looking for the perfect friend. She winds up meeting Adam (played by Jeremy Sisto), and becomes obsessed with him. Things eventually wind up turning very bad. Anna Faris also stars.

This movie's tagline can be taken two ways. May is a girl who can make the viewer feel sorrow for her at times, so "Be careful....she just might take your heart." could mean she has a way of making viewers side with her and feel for her. On the other hand, it could also mean the obvious, seeing how she actually does deal with the 'taking' of certain body parts in this movie.
