A great scene occurs between Frescia and Maguire out in the parking lot after Jo Ann drives off with her chef in tow.

The story is picking up dramatically at this point and Jo Ann is trying to balance her feelings for both Mac McCussick and Nick Frescia. Having been in her restaurant's wine cellar before with Nick... which turned into a romantic scene... Jo Ann thinks Nick is escorting her back into the cellar for another private moment. Jo Anna is shocked to find varying levels of law enforcement inside the cellar having a business dinner meeting.

Ltd. Nick Frescia is repeatedly at odds with federal agent Hal Maguire due to Maguire's back to back failed operations in catching McCussick break the law. This only makes Maguire more determined to apprehend McCussick.

Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, and Mel Gibson were the lead actors.

Mac and Cody are down at the beach in front of their Malibu home where Cody is riding some waves with his surfboard. His dad warns him to stay away from the pier but Mac is then startled by an angry Jo Ann holding an envelope of cash. In those few seconds, Cody and the pier connect and Cody is rushed to the ER.

Cody dismisses the babysitter while recuperating in order to sweet talk Jo Ann over the phone into coming to the house and making angel hair pasta. The next scene is when Mac calls Jo Ann "slick", ruffling a few feathers. Great scene.
