Timothy Hutton plays Christopher Boyce, "the Falcon", a convicted traitor and Soviet spy. Boyce becomes disillusioned with US foriegn policy and uses his job at a top secret facility to trade information to the Soviets.

Initially arrested for trespassing, the Mexico City police find a postcard on Lee. It is of a landmark in Mexico City, where a police officer was murdered. The Mexican police think he is carrying the postcard as a trophy of the kill.

John Schlesinger directed the film, Steven Zaillian wrote the screenplay and Clarence Kelley was the director of the FBI at the time of Boyce and Lee's arrest.

Boyce is convicted of treason against his government. His pet is named after Guy Fawkes, a British citizen who was also convicted of treason against his government for trying to blow up Parliment in 1605. This has to be more than just a coincidence. At one point, Boyce is shown attempting to flee to England. Does Christopher Boyce somehow know all along that he may betray his country someday?
10. What is the name of the company that Christopher Boyce works for when he becomes an "accidental spy"?

Answer: RTX

In the film it is called RTX, though it is actually TRW. The same company that is involved with US defense systems also owns the credit reporting agency of the same name. Sound familiar? These days they are just an automotive parts maker after having to sell most of their other interests due to large scale debts.
