Answer: Twelfth Night

In this film, Channing plays Duke Orsino (named for the character Orsino who is a duke in the play). He is Viola's (played by Amanda Bynes) roommate when she is disguised as her brother Sebastian. Duke has a crush on Olivia, who is the lab partner of Sebastian, but who has a crush on the disguised Viola. (Confused? You will be!)
Much chaos ensues, including Viola trying to appear as herself and her brother at a carnival and her brother turning up a day earlier than expected!

Answer: Step Up

Channing stars in the original 'Step Up' (2006) where his character is a kid from the wrong side of the tracks who has to do community service at an arts school which he trashed with friends. He meets one of the pupils, Nora (played by Channing's real life partner Jenna Dewan), who notices his dancing ability. She convinces the principal of the school to let him join her for a dance after the injury of her partner.
He also makes a cameo appearance in 'Step Up 2: The Streets' (2008) trying to convince the lead character Andie to audition for the same arts school that he attends.
Jenna Dewan and Channing met on the set of the first 'Step Up' movie; they married in 2009 and had their first child together in 2014.

Johnny Depp's first film role was in 'Nightmare on Elm Street' (1984), however it wasn't until the first of his collaborations with Tim Burton, 'Edward Scissorhands' (1990), that he came to prominence on the big screen.
Johnny Depp also starred in the original TV series of '21 Jump Street' (1987-90), making a cameo appearance in the film adaptation starring Channing.
We only see Channing very briefly at the beginning of 'Public Enemies', being chased and shot down by FBI agent Melvin Purvis (played by Christian Bale) which leads to Purvis' promotion.
Incorrectly, the film suggests that Pretty Boy Floyd's death preceded John Dillinger's, when in fact after John Dillinger had been killed, Pretty Boy Floyd replaced him as Public Enemy No. 1.

Answer: Dear John

Channing plays the titular John, who is a soldier on leave when he meets Savannah (played by Amanda Seyfried). When he returns to his service they keep in touch by letter. When he is due to leave the army, the 9/11 attacks make him change his mind about leaving and he re-enlists.

After two more years of exchanging letters, Savannah informs John that she is engaged. The film follows Channing in the army and the relationship with his father, who Savannah identifies as being autistic.

Answer: The Dilemma

Vince Vaughan plays the main character with the dilemma from the title. He sees his best friend's wife (played by Winona Ryder) kissing another man (Channing Tatum). He wants to tell his friend (played by Kevin James) but after the wife promises the affair is over and she will tell her husband, he decides against it.

However, she has not ended the affair and threatens to tell her husband that he has been hitting on her. She does later admit to the affair after Vince Vaughn's character produces photographic evidence.

Answer: Roman

Channing plays Marcus Flavius Aquila, who hopes to redeem his family's honour by retrieving the lost eagle standard of his father's legion which disappeared twenty years earlier.
He saves the life of Esca (Jamie Bell) who does not like the Romans but owes a life debt to Marcus. The pair travel to the north of Britain to find the missing standard and return it to Rome.

Answer: Rachel McAdams

'The Vow' is based on the true story of a couple who were in a serious car accident shortly after their wedding. The crash leaves the wife with no memory of meeting her husband or any of their relationship and he endeavours to win her over once again.

Answer: Policeman

Channing and Jonah Hill play two friends who are enlisted in an undercover student scheme.
In the first film, they are undercover at a high school and must find the dealer of a new drug known as HFS.
In the second film, the pair become undercover college students and again find the supplier of the drug WHYPHY.
I think the comedy duo of Hill and Tatum is a great combination!

Answer: Tampa

Based on Channing's real life experiences as a stripper, 'Magic Mike' is about a stripper who is trying to raise enough money to start his own business creating furniture. Matthew McConaughy plays Dallas, the owner of the strip bar who has big plans to move the bar to Miami, at their farewell show he sings a dedicated song to the 'Ladies of Tampa' and Alex Pettyfer played 'The Kid' who is new to the stripping business.
Let's face it though, not many people are watching the film for its storyline!

Answer: Rooney Mara

'Side Effects' is a psychological thriller also starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and Jude Law.
Rooney Mara plays a woman who is psychologically unbalanced, Jude Law and Catherine Zeta-Jones play her therapists - past and present. I won't say too much and spoil the film for people who haven't seen it as there is a few twists and turns!
Rooney Mara was Oscar nominated for her performance as the titular 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' in the 2011 remake and starred as Joaquin Phoenix's ex-wife in 'Her' (2013)

Answer: Danny McBride

All the actors appear as fictionalised versions of themselves when the Reaping arrives and they must prove their worth to enter Heaven.
Danny McBride plays the antagonist to James Franco, he turns up in the house that the main cast have barricaded themselves in and eats most of their food supplies - he later leaves the house and is found, later, by the cast as leader of a group of cannibals.
Channing appears towards the end as Danny McBride's sex slave.
This has the best ending to a film that I have ever seen, I recommend it if only for the last half an hour!

Answer: Jamie Foxx

Channing plays John Cale, a former soldier who interviews at the White House but is turned down. While accompanying his daughter on a tour, a hostile takeover occurs and Cale fights to take down the terrorist organisation and protect his daughter and the president.
Jamie Foxx began his career as a musician, before turning to comedy and eventually pursuing an acting career. In 2005, he was nominated for both the Best Actor in a Leading Role and also in a Supporting Role for his portrayal of Ray Charles in 'Ray' and as a taxi driver opposite Tom Cruise in 'Collateral'.
A similar film, starring Gerard Butler, came out a few months before the release of this film. Although 'Olympus Has Fallen' (2013) was also a fantastic film, I preferred 'White House Down'.

Answer: Superman

Although all these characters appear in the film, it is Superman who is voiced by Channing. He is part of the group of Master Builders who are conspiring to overthrow Lord Business and is later kidnapped by Bad Cop (voiced by Liam Neeson).
The Green Lantern is voiced by Channing's 'Jump Street' co-star Jonah Hill. Green Lantern is portrayed as a bit clingy to Superman (much like Hill's character is to Tatum's in 'Jump Street').

Answer: Joaquin

Channing voices Joaquin, who is given a protective medal by Xibalba- a Mexican spirit who rules over the Land of the Forgotten. This badge makes him invincible, so he pursues a career in the army and becomes famous for his fighting skills.
The film follow Joaquin and his best friend Manolo, who both fight for the attentions of the beautiful Maria (voiced by Zoe Saldana). What the trio don't know is that Xibalba and his counterpart in the Land of the Remembered, La Muerte, have placed a bet on who will win Maria's love.

Answer: Wrestling

This film is based on the true story of Olympic winners Mark and David Schultz and their relationship with John DuPont, who wants the USA wrestling team to train at his facility.
First Mark and John become friends, but as time passes John increasingly acts more unstable - hiring Mark's brother as a trainer, despite having previously told Mark that he thinks he is better without him. This leads to Mark leaving the coaching facility and a fatal conclusion for David.
