The gang are all away at college in the first part of the movie. When we first see them they are on stage singing and after they finish the crowd gives Kermit an encore and one man in the audience asks Kermit, "Hey Kermit, next time we'll see you on Broadway?" He replies, "He he uh, yeah".

Then we see Scooter saying "Broadway, that's a great idea." Then they mention it to Kermit and then they are on their way to New York.

Martin Price was the first producer they went to see. While they were there a woman came in with the police to identify him as the man who took her life savings. He ended up getting arrested after he took Gonzo and his chicken Camilla as "hostages" and he had a run in with Animal, who hung onto his leg until the police were able to get a hold on him.

Camilla is the name of Gonzo's favorite chicken. After they had a run in with Martin Price, Camilla was having breathing problems and when Gonzo revived her, Piggy asked "Gonzo, is Camilla alright?" and he replied "Yeah, but I think we're engaged".

Jenny is the daughter of Pete, the restaurant owner. She and Kermit become good friends and she ends up designing the costumes for his show. Piggy is very jealous of Jenny at first, but after she sees that Jenny is just helping Kermit with the show, she then sees her as a friend also.

Pete's is the restaraunt that both Kermit and Piggy both eventually work at. It is also the work place of Rizzo, the rat. Eventually he gets Pete to hire his other rat friends, whose names are Chester, Masterson, Tatooey, and Yolanda.

Rizzo is the name of the rat that is a waiter at Pete's. Rizzo eventually has to work in the kitchen with the other rats because the customers were complaining about having rats for waiters.

We see Kermit telling Piggy bye and she leaves on a train, but she never left for another job. She actually ended up back in New York, so she could spy on Kermit. Every time Kermit and Jenny would hug there would be a commotion somewhere nearby, and it would be Piggy tearing up something. Kermit doesn't know that she stayed until her purse got snatched in the park and she ended up on a pair of rollerskates chasing the guy down who snatched her purse.

Ronnie Crawford produces "Manhattan Melodies", with the help of his father Bernard Crawford. "Manhattan Melodies" is the first show that Ronnie is producing. I think he did a good job.

Kermit got hit by the car two weeks before the show was to be on Broadway. The gang didn't find him until he came into Pete's to eat with his new friends Bill, Gill and Jill. Kermit gave himself the name Phil and worked in advertising for Ocean Breeze soap. Piggy ended up knocking his memory back into him just before the show was to begin.
