Answer: "Sexual Revolution" - Macy Gray

 You may notice though that she is not dancing in time to the music, this is because when they were filming she was dancing to a track by Mystikal, however they could not secure the rights to use it.
2. What did Jane have to take to the dry cleaners?

Answer: Leopard print dress

 It was Courtney's dress but Jane got a stain on it after borrowing it the night before, the stain incidently was real, in case you were wondering!

Answer: Rockliffe

 Christina says "Unlike my ... friend Courtney Rockliffe I don't spend much time in men's public bathrooms" HEHE!

 He tells Christina this in the club when they first meet, then she and Courtney go there to find him. According to Selma Blair the church used in "The Sweetest Thing" is the same place the makers of "Legally Blond" used as Harvard! The church was in Pasadena.

 Lip gloss it is, which, of course leads to an amusing incident with a motorcyclist that is overtaking! Apparently, some people think that the motorcyclist is director Roger Kumble, but it is just a professional stuntman.

Roger Kumble also directed 'Cruel Intentions' and with it gave Selma Blair her first movie role.

Answer: A purple elephant suit

 She doesn't realise it's him and therefore hits him but then he explains it's part of his job as he works in a children's hospital. According to the credits the character's name was Todd, although it isn't actually mentioned during the film, he was played by Johnny Messiner.

Answer: Greg

 Greg was played by James Mangold. He is the husband of Cathy Konrad, one of "The Sweetest Thing"'s producers. He also directed and wrote several films, including "Girl, Interrupted".

Answer: Jane's mother

 The woman who played the teacher Mrs. Franklin is actually Christina Applegate's mother- Nancy Priddy. The school children turning up was not originally in the script, and was added by Roger Kumble.

Roger can actually be seen in the film, when the girls return from Somerset he is standing at the ambulance with a baseball cap on. Also the cop who sings "How Do I Live" is Ricky Strauss, one of the film's producers.

Answer: Leather coat guy

 The actor who played 'Leather Coat Guy' was Jonathan Schaech, and when this film was made Christina Applegate and he were actually dating, and have since married. They came up with their "What's up?" scene together as it was not scripted.

 Courtney does try "Relax" but it has an unwanted reaction! Jason Bateman who plays Roger, Peter's brother, says he hadn't previously heard "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" despite its huge success!

The cast recorded their version of this song, which was written by Diane Warren, at the famous Capital Records Studios, where many famous artists including the Beatles recorded.

 Courtney and Christina then tell her that the problem was she made herself too available. Christina tells her to look for Mr Right Now instead of Mr Right, and that eventually, if he is the right person the 'now' part will drop away. Aawwww. This scene was a reshoot, and both Cameron Diaz and Selma Blair were wearing hair pieces. Christina Applegate had also returned to her more usual blond hair colour and had to use brown mousse to colour it back.

 She also has a little cameo in the film as the girl who vomits in the bathroom of the club, and later on Roger. Selma Blair claims that the funniest lines in the film weren't actually written by Nancy, and purely improvisation.

 This can be seen on the sign outside the shop as they enter, apparently, it was a real shop as were most of the contents, and little dressing was done by the crew.

 They have to take the 140 then the Somerset exit. In the car there is an issue of "In Style" magazine with Madonna on the cover.

In the scene where Courtney convinces Christina to go to the wedding we see Jane in underwear, and it says on them "Yay, it's spring time" - they were Selma Blair's own!

 They were going to go scuba diving in Bali. Judy was played by Parker Posey, and her father was played by John Bennett Perry, who is Matthew Perry's father.
