That was when her dog's name was revealed.

Ironhide was the specialist of heavy weaponry for the Autobots. His vehicle form was a black GMC Topkick C4500. This scene happened during the time NEST team was in Shanghai tracking down the Decepticons Sideways and Demolisher. Ironhide transformed from his vehicle mode and said, "He's here. I smell him." referring to the Decepticon they were tracking down.

Sam was the main character of the movie. In the first movie, Sam was the owner of the glasses that had the coordinates to the AllSpark on them, which gave him a special connection to the Autobots. In this movie, they still share this connection. This scene happened after his meltdown in astronomy class. Sam ran to his dorm room and grabbed a can of green paint.

Then he began to paint a symbol directly onto one of the many posters that covered his dorm room's walls.

This special key was called the Matrix of Leadership. The only clue he had to the location of the Matrix was this riddle. He passed the riddle on to Sam, so that Sam could find the Matrix and stop The Fallen from activating the machine.

Jetfire was a very old robot. He claimed that he had been on Earth for a long time, that his ancestors had been there for centuries. He was a former Decepticon who switched over to the Autobot team, after he decided that he didn't want to live a life filled with negativity and hate.

This scene happened toward the end of the movie. Jetfire showed up to help in the battle, and ended up killing Mixmaster. After he killed Mixmaster, Skorponok jumped out of the sand and punched a huge hole in Jetfire's stomach. Later, seeing that he would die anyway, Jetfire gave his spark to Optimus to help him defeat The Fallen.

Before they found the Tomb of the Primes, Leo didn't think they'd find it. He didn't really believe that Jetfire knew what he was talking about when the gave them this mission, and he said, "So we're trusting Grandpa Blackbird when he doesn't even know what planet he's on?". The "Blackbird" part of the nickname came from the fact that Jetfire's vehicle mode was an SR-71 Blackbird.

After Simmons saw and recognized Sam, he ordered the meat store closed so they could talk in private. Simmons then said to one of his employees, "You don't get Chrismas bonus standing around. You want those new teeth you saw on SkyMall?" Simmons's employee replied with, "It's my dream."

Frenzy was a hijacker and spy robot in the first "Transformers" movie, but he was killed in the end. Simmons kept Frenzy's severed head under a glass dome in his secret room. Leo tried to touch it, but Simmons swatted his hand away and said that the head was still radioactive.
