"Trolls" - The Movie Trivia Quiz

Answer: A meal

The Bergens only feel happy when they eat the trolls. They have a yearly celebration where the trolls are served up in a variety of dishes - Trollstice. At the Trollstice in the beginning of the movie, the young prince of the Bergens, Gristle, is about to eat his first troll when he discovers that the troll is a fake. The trolls have escaped!

Answer: "No troll left behind!"

King Peppy (voiced by Jeffrey Tambor) leads the trolls out of their captivity in Bergen Town and into the woods where they are free. As they escape, he helps different trolls in distress and yells out "no troll left behind!" as he takes off one article of clothing after another. Finally, at the end of the tunnel, totally nude at this point, he emerges from the tunnel victorious with his daughter, Princess Poppy, safely hidden in his hair.

Answer: Chef

Chef, in exile due to her losing the trolls, is wandering in the forest when she sees the party being thrown by Princess Poppy (voiced by Anna Kendrick). She goes and crashes the party and captures several trolls, all of them Poppy's friends. Poppy, re-voicing King Peppy's statement that "no trolls left behind" is determined to go rescue the captured trolls.

She goes to seek the help of Branch who has knowledge of survival and is very resourceful.

Answer: Cloud Guy runs into it

One of the reasons that Branch (voiced by Justin Timberlake) agrees to help Poppy is that he's secretly enamoured by her. His first act when he meets up with Poppy is to save her from the vicious flora on the way to Bergen Town. When they reach the exit to their escape tunnel, they see a whole bunch of other tunnels. Cloud Guy, a cloud with hands and feet and a face, tells them that only one will lead them to where they want to be and the others lead to certain death.

While trying to get Branch to have fun, Cloud Guy actually provokes Branch into attacking him with a shap stick and Cloud Guy runs into the tunnels, the safe tunnel.

When they emerge, they're in Bergen Town.

Answer: Creek

Creek (voiced by Russell Brand) is picked out of the cage by Chef and is given to King Gristle to eat. Poppy sees Gristle place Creek in his mouth and believes he is eaten. Branch is astounded when Poppy retains hope that Creek is still alive. The two keep going on to find the rest of their friends and they plan a rescue.

Answer: She is in love with King Gristle.

Poppy discovers a shrine to King Gristle in Bridget's room and she and Branch promise to get her a date with Gristle if she helps the trolls find their friends. Poppy sings about it and Bridget questions why Branch isn't singing. Branch admits that he stopped singing when his singing caused his grandmother to be eaten by a Bergen while saving Branch's life. That was when he lost his colour and his fun.

Answer: A rollerskating arcade

Bridget (voiced by Zooey Deschanel), in disguise as Lady Glittersparkles, and King Gristle go to a rollerskating arcade and have a fun time (dare I say) while rollerskating together to "They Don't Know" by Ariana Grande. Afterwards, they share a pizza and when Bridget slaps Gristle, he knows that she's something special.

He invites her to be his "plus one" at Trollstice, however, he doesn't know that she's just a scullery maid in the kitchen. This is all done to Chef's disapproval.

Answer: In King Gristle's jewel.

Creek is being kept in King Gristle's green jewel that he keeps around his neck that holds his cloak around his shoulders. Gristle (voiced by Christopher Mintz-Plasse) did not eat Creek after all and was keeping him for the right occasion. Poppy and Branch set up a plan to go into King Gristle's chambers to rescue Creek but they discover that he's not there...

Answer: traitor

Creek sold out his friends in order to save himself. Instead of being eaten, he agreed to deliver the troll village into the hands of the Bergens. He goes to the village and bangs on Poppy's cowbell thus luring everyone out of hiding. However, Chef and her sous-chefs are there to capture everyone and bring them back to Bergen Town just in time to be prepared for Trollstice. All the trolls are captured and are going to be eaten by the Bergens.

Answer: True Colors

Branch regains his true colours by realizing that all is not lost when they are trapped and about to be eaten. Poppy sings back to Branch and gains her colour too triggering the same reaction in all of the trolls. Bridget, seeing that all of the trolls have regained their colour, releases the trolls outside the door and tells them to go, willing to take the blame. The trolls, however, don't abandon Bridget and return to the Bergen feast to help her.

When the Bergens realize that happiness was within them all along and they realize that they don't need to eat the trolls anymore. Bridget and King Gristle are united in love and the trolls get to return home.
